Fortune-telling

"He doesn't seem like someone willing to let her go," I mused, recalling the resigned manner he had stood in front of Dahlia's claws. If I had not pulled him away in time, Alpha Burke and his wife would be cradling their son's decapitated head in time.

It was as though part of him longed to die under her claws, for his blood to forever stain her hands.

If it was a way of enacting revenge on her for marrying Damon, it was certainly a strange one indeed. After all, there was no way anyone would be able to forget murdering their fated mate in cold blood during their wedding. Even if Dahlia were to be unmoved, the rest of werewolf society would shun her accordingly.

Yet it was highly unlikely for Milo to have such a vicious idea.
