Lian shivered and Ding pulled the blanket over his bare chest. He quickly headed to the bathroom, freshened up getting rid of the vomit smell before laying on the furthest corner of the bed.
Ding lay on his back with his hands pillowing his head as he stared at the ceiling lost in thought.
After a while, Ding slowly turned his body and looked at the fast asleep Lian questions whirling through his mind.
"You're a cop huh? But what was all that about you turning against your principles and joining the other side?"
Ding raised his hand and gently trailed a finger down Lian's cheek.
"What exactly made your own people offer a reward on your head? It seems a lot has happened to you since the first time you and I met."
Lian slowly opened his eyes and looked at the unfamiliar ceiling in his line of sight.
Where is this place? he asked himself his eyes scanning the room before falling on a fast asleep figure beside him.
