[Welcome to the interface of Growth System?]
[Would you like to start the tutorial?]
[Yes] [No]
As two options appeared in front of him with three different panels, he stood there dumbfounded for a moment.
Shura was surprised by the fact that it was similar to that of a game interface.
He quickly raised his hand and clicked on Yes.
Upon doing so, the screen in front of him changed. It was a massive blue screen with three different icons on it.
[Attributes] [Magic] [Unique Abilities]
Suddenly, a virtual hand appeared which kept clicking on attributes but it wasn't exactly clicking.
[Please click on the 'Attribute']
Shura followed the instruction and clicked on the 'Attribute'. The screen changed once again.
[Physical Attribute;
STR- 30 AGI- 30 DEF- 30
STM- 40 END- 30 DEX-30]
[Magic Attribute;
Mana- 3 MR- 1/min
MA- 2/min MC- 1/min]
(Note; MR = Mana Recovery, MA = Mana Absorption and MC = Mana Consumption)
Looking at these two attributes, Shura understood a little bit. Because he had been training with his Gramps for a long time, his physical strength was top-notch.
But at the same time, his magical attribute was extremely pitiful.
Even his Mana Absorption was only 2/min. Although he wasn't sure what 2 means from the system's perspective, he does know a little about it.
A person's mana is counted based on its gas form which is its most used form.
To calculate someone's mana level, they can simply glance at someone's mana and figure it out.
The reason why they can figure it out is because they can see the Mana inside someone's Mana Pool or even the mana coming out of it.
The more massive that Mana Pool is the more powerful that person will be. But, this kind of mana inside one's body is more of in a liquid state until it leaks out of the body.
Then, it turns into a gas. Currently, his Mana was 3 which meant he would be able to fill three normal balloons with his total mana.
Mana Recovery was 1/min which was normal in his case. But, it didn't mean he absorbed 1 point of mana in one minute.
In fact, his absorption rate is two points per minute but whenever the mana is absorbed, it would flow into his system. This process makes his body absorb some of the mana into his blood system.
This leads to one point of mana being consumed.
But, this also shows just how weak his body truly is. For a mage, mana is a source of strength.
It gives them magic but also powerful strength and speed. And, unlike using mana to boost their strength, this kind of strength is passive.
Even with eight years of hard-core training, his strength was barely three times stronger than a normal adult who never trained in their life.
But because they have mana inside their blood flowing all the time, they get stronger passively.
And, he trained for eight years but he could only get three times stronger than those adults. It just goes to show how low his talent truly is.
Seeing his attributes, he rubbed the back of his head with a sad expression. But, soon, that sad expression disappeared with a determined face.
[Please click here]
A virtual finger appeared above the STR stat. So, he followed the instructions and clicked it.
[Please allocate your strength stat into Growth Room]
[____]
When the blank screen appeared, there was a number pad below it. He thought for a moment and decided to be more cautious in his first time.
He wrote 20 points and the next moment, a new panel appeared.
[Are you sure you want to put 20 Points into the Growth Room?]
[Once you put your strength stat points into Growth Point, you will lose that much strength for a week. At the end of the week, the total number you put into Growth Room will double.]
After reading the entire text, his eyes widened for a moment. He almost didn't believe it.
After all, if it could truly double the points it would mean it would almost double his strength.
Seeing this, he was extremely excited. Because this was the last gift from his grandfather, he didn't dare to disbelieve it.
So, he decided to put his points into the Growth Room. After that, he puts his other stat points as well.
20 STR, 20 AGI, 20 END, 20 DEF, 20 STM, and 20 DEX
Strength, agility, endurance, defense, stamina, and dexterity, he had put all of that into the Growth Room hoping for it to grow soon.
After everything, he calmed down before the tutorial continued.
After that, a new panel appeared in front of him which was the Magic panel. Unlike the previous panel, this panel looked more like a tree.
There was a massive trunk in the middle with a word written on it 'Magic'. There were two different branches spreading out of the trunk.
But, these branches looked a bit dark gray. But, he could still read the words on it.
'Time' 'Seal'
He knew that he couldn't access it since the virtual hand was pointing at the cross at the top section of the screen.
'This works quite like a computer. So, was it modified by Grandpa so that I can use it properly?'
He thought to himself before closing this panel. And, the virtual hand pointed at the next menu.
This next panel was about unique abilities. It had the same structure as that of the previous panel except there was only one branch growing out of the trunk.
[Swordsmanship]
Unlike the magic abilities, this was actually golden and there was a hand pointing on it.
He quickly clicked on Swordsmanship and a new panel appeared.
[Swordsmanship: Basic
Moves: Chop, Slash, and Stab
Combination Moves: Lightning Blade, Blazing Slash, and Wind Cutter]
Below the panel, there was a small (+) sign. There was a virtual hand trying to press on it.
Upon pressing it, a new panel appeared and unlike before, this panel had a strange machine on it.
Besides that machine, there was a massive empty inventory and suddenly, a box popped out.
[You can use items such as Swords, Mana Stones, Mana Scrolls, etc to improve your swordsmanship]
Looking at this notification, Shura was stunned for a moment. He almost couldn't react to it for a while.
Only after a few seconds of daze, did he finally react.
'Wait, does that mean I only need swords and mana stones to improve my swordsmanship?'
He didn't care about Mana Scrolls which was not something he could acquire that easily.
So, his focus was more on Mana Stones and Swords.
As soon as he thought about it, he quickly rushed toward his bag. He opened it and there was a big pouch on it.
This pouch held all of the Mana Stones that his grandfather saved up.
Of course, there was a lot more but since his mana reserve was low and it would take him quite a long time to recover, his grandfather would use his Mana Stone for training.
If other people knew about this luxurious training method, they would've killed him a thousand times.
Anyway, even if they were less, they could still be useful.
When those stones appeared in his hand, a notification also appeared.
[Would you like to store 45 Mana Stones in your inventory?]
[Yes] [No]
Without any hesitation, he clicked on yes and those mana stones disappeared.
Soon, he found those mana stones in that massive inventory.
Ring! Ring! Ring!
Suddenly, a siren starts ringing loudly throughout his house. It startled him for a moment as he quickly dashed out of his room.
"Hey, there is trouble coming."
He saw Mina coming down from the first floor. She quickly shouted at him and dashed out of the door.
As soon as the door opened, Shura saw a horrifying scene. There was a massive monster that was nearly the size of a building standing several meters away from his house.
That monster was just like a giant but its entire body was purple and his head was like a ball. His eyes were like humans and he had a massive tail on his back.
"Hell's Creatures" Shura screamed.
His eyes widened in shock as he got stuck in that place in fear.
Although he had seen Hell's Creatures before, it was with his grandfather. So, during that time, he wasn't worried about these creatures since his grandfather could protect him.
And, more importantly, those creatures were much weaker than this one. It was nearly the size of his own house.
"Hey you, what the hell are you doing? Come and help me!"
He heard a loud shout from outside. Mina who was living with him was under that giant monster while trying to lift a massive chunk of metal.
Beneath it, there were two people barely surviving.
At this moment, the giant moved his hand. Mina was so caught up in rescuing those people that she didn't even notice it.
Bang!
Suddenly, a figure flashed next to her. This figure was none other than Shura. He was holding a sword in his hand and using it to change the direction of that monster's swing.
Thud!
But when he realized that the power of that monster was several times his, the monster slammed Shura toward the house. He collided against the massive wall and fell to the ground with his back lying against it.
