THE EPIC OF STORMBRINGER

Moving through the clouds at supersonic speed, the messanger owl glided through the snowy mountain ranges on the northern continent . It passed over the white landscape dotted with clusters of cuties and towns here and there ignoring them until it approached it's destination and began to decend. It's streaked through the buildings in the valley of a large mountain and flew up to the temple on top, passing over a courtyard were several maidens and monks as well as guards and other people walking around and doing their assignments. It raised it's head and flew towards the balcony of one of the towers.

In a room on one of the upper floors of the building, the muffled but pleasureful moans of women could be heard intermittently. The owl slowly landed and tilted its head curiously due to the sound looking through the open door that led to a room were three individuals were moving passionatly on a bed. The owl blinked then hooted just as, two extatic screams ring throughout the room. One of the people got of the bed and the naked man came toward the boulcany to the perch and stroked the owls head while retrieving the letter . The man, Aldean Frost, read the content of the letter, and a smirked.

"Interesting," he says, "seems my time is drawing near"

"Aldy~ " one of the women called softly while the other began to purr.

The letter in Aldean hand froze then shattered into blue dust and walked back inside closing the doors behind him as the muffled moans began once more. The owl purred then flew off into the Aurora lit sky.

Today

Exactly one week had passed and now was the time when rulers of the various nations of the continent would meet up.

It was to maintain some form of familiarity and in some way reinforce the treaty that was signed to prevent any conflict between nations.

The council this time around was being held in Adonis.A beacon of progress, it stood as a testament to the power of human ingenuity, a place where the pursuit of knowledge and innovation reigned supreme. Eschewing the arcane arts that dominated other realms, the Adonisians instead embraced the wonders of science and technology, their society a symphony of gears, steam, and electricity.

At the heart of this empire, the capital city of Aethelburg hummed with life. A sprawling metropolis of iron and glass, its skyline was a tapestry of towering factories, majestic clock towers, and intricate networks of pipes and wires.

The air thrummed with the rhythmic pulse of steam engines that served as substitute to magic, their hiss and clatter a constant reminder of the city's ceaseless industry. Amidst this mechanical marvel, the citizens moved about thier business. Gentlemen in attires that closely resembled tailored suits and ladies in elegant gowns strolling along gaslit streets.

And yet, beneath the gleaming surface of Adonis's technological advancements lay a darker truth. For all their vaunted progress, the Adonians have a long history of disdain for those blessed with the arcane arts. To them, magic was a relic of a bygone era, a primitive and unsophisticated force that has no place in their modern, rational world.

It was known that the Adonians had been long exploiting those with magical abilities, using them as test subjects for their experiments and forcing them to work in menial positions, far beneath their true potential. It is a cruel irony that the very people who had driven Adonis's technological progress are also the ones who are most marginalized and oppressed.

This dark underbelly of Adonian society is a legacy of the nation's troubled past. For centuries, Adonis was embroiled in a bitter struggle for dominance over the continent of Apolloi but had to contend fiercely with the Kingdom of Archadia. The two nations clashed in a series of brutal wars, with the other nations of the continent drawn into the conflict like pawns on a chessboard.

As the wars dragged on, the continent was plunged into chaos. There's was destruction everywhere and the Nations that had formed alliances against their opposition were torn apart by internal conflicts pertaining to each one's own interest. This lack of unity kee to a stalemate on both ends. It seemed as though the conflict would never end, that the continent would be forever trapped in a cycle of violence and bloodshed.

But then, something changed. A lone warrior from Archadia, the man who would one day become the Duke of Opal. The warrior who was called Cathior na Stoirme, The StormBringer single-handedly turned the tide of the war. With his bravery and strategic genius, he led the Archadian forces to a series of crushing victories despite his young age , forcing open negotiations.

It was there that the Duke proposed a radical solution: a truce between all the nations of the continent, one that would bring an end to the cycle of violence and allow the continent to heal and also give all parties involved that chance to voice out their afflictions in order to come up with a solution.

The proposal was met with skepticism at first, but eventually, the leaders of the various nations came to see the wisdom in the Duke's words.

And so, the Peace Treaty was signed, bringing a measure of serenity to the continent. It was a fragile peace, sure, but it was a start. The nations of the continent began to rebuild, to forge new alliances and to work towards a brighter future.

But there were always rumors of nationa secretly stocking up their inventory all in preparation for a war. As to which nation would spark it,only the fates knew but that was a testament of why this was so important. Calling them out and and making sure that they were held accountable.

" We've arrived at the castle your grace." The carriage driver said and one of the attendants opened the door door him.

Duke Mikael sighed and stepped out and went inside the castle were the meeting would be held.

" Hmm. Who would have thought that I of all people would be thinking about my brothers exploits." He said with a frown. He then changed his expression and smiled faintly.

" Childish bastard." He mummered as he composed himself and stepped into a room were some of the other Rulers and representatives were seated.

" Guess I'm the last one huh?"

He took his seat and faced the people who could turn out to be enemies of Archadia.
