Chapter 154

Lucifer smiled. "You're not far behind, Cas. You'll find the being that inspires love and a desire to protect them no matter the cost." Lucifer looked at me. "I'd destroy Heaven and Hell for her. Destroy all the realms for her if it meant she's happy and safe."

These powerful men really needed to stop making my head and heart spin. I really had no fucking clue what to do here. All I knew was that I wanted to fuck him badly and my men wanted to watch me fuck him just as badly.

I swallowed and shivered. "Let's get Dean free, deal with Daniel and Sharon, and then we can continue this conversation. Please Luci?"

Lucifer smiled, took my hand, and bowed, kissing the top of my hand. "As my lady wishes."

"Fuck off, Luci. I'm no lady and you know it." But I was laughing, and he sent me a smug grin.

Suddenly Daniels voice rang out and broke the goodwill in the room. 

"That's right, you're not a lady. You're a fucking whore and a cunt. You were always worthless. Just another burden I had to deal with. I'll get payment from you. I'll hear your screams as I fuck you. You never screamed for me as a kid but by fuck you will scream for me now."

Lucifer stood ridged. "You'll regret those words, you foolish soul. You and your son will suffer for your stupidity. Your time with Alastair will feel like a spa vacation compared to what I've got in store for you. Now, it's time to come along and leave the nice mortal boy alone." Lucifer looked at me. "Ariane, place your hand over Dean's heart. Think of him and remember him like he used to be before Daniel took him over. I'll draw out that foulness, but you'll need to keep Dean anchored so I don't draw him out too." 

I nodded and put my hand on Dean's chest. I could feel warmth under my hand, and I knew the real Dean was in there. Daniel snarled and tried to twist away but he was held in place by Lucifer's power. 

"Come to me, foul soul. Come out so I can play." He beckoned with his fingers and dark oily smoke started to seep from Dean's mouth. An unholy scream filled the room and I struggled to not cover my ears like everyone else except for Crowley and Cas. It was the sound of rage and insanity as Daniel was pulled unwillingly from Dean. I started to feel the heat shift and bore down mentally by instinct. I didn't want to lose Dean. The heat stayed put as the last of Daniel was pulled free.

Lucifer stood with a roiling ball of oily smoke in the palm of his hand. He smiled. 

"You did that perfectly, Ariane. Now let Dean go, and his spirit will quickly reclaim his body. Your friend will be weak but he'll be back to normal."

I lifted my hand and watched anxiously as life started to spark in Dean's brown eyes again. He blinked a few times, and I watched his eyes focus on me.

"Ariane?" His voice was rough, but it was unmistakably Dean.

I nodded and he surprised us all when he snatched me into a fierce hug and started to cry. I held him and rubbed his back. Loki came closer, eyeing Dean, making sure he didn't hurt me.

"Oh god Ariane, I am so sorry. The way I treated you and the things I said. It was horrifying and I couldn't stop him. I wasn't strong enough. I'll never forgive myself for how much I hurt you."

"It's ok, Dean. You weren't in control, and I don't blame you anymore now that I know it was Daniel and not you."

"He showed me everything he'd done to you. Taunted me with it. Told me he was going to make me do it to you all over again but even worse this time." He shuddered.

"It's ok, Dean. It's over. Lucifer's going to give him everything he deserves and more."

Dean looked over at Lucifer. "I never thought I'd say it but thank you. Thank you for rescuing me and being there for her when I couldn't."

Lucifer just nodded his head. I looked over at Cas. "Cas? Can you take him home? Take him to Sam and explain that he's got his brother back and that he can stop hating him now."

Cas nodded and walked over to me and Dean. "Let's go home, my friend."

Dean gave me one last tight squeeze and backed away until he was next to Cas. 

"Good luck with your life here, Ariane. You were never truly happy there with us. But I see you finally found where you belong. I'll always be grateful, and I'll miss you. It was an honor to Hunt with you."

"Same to you Dean. Maybe down the road Cas can bring you both for a visit. Just don't bring any unwelcome guests next time."

Dean laughed. "Deal. See ya Hunter Girl."

"See ya Hunter Dude."

"Fuck you, Ariane. Don't call me Dude."

"Then don't call me Girl, asshat."

He grinned and waved as he and Cas disappeared. I turned to find Loki staring at me with a smile and a raised eye.

"Old banter. Now it's just a joke, but we used to take that way more seriously. I didn't realize how much I had missed it and how long it had been missing there in that last year or so." I looked at Lucifer and the smoke that was Daniel. "Luci… make that cocksucker and his son pay for everything and everyone he's hurt."

"My pleasure. And since this one was so, pardon the pun, hell-bent on raping you, let's see how he likes it. I have many creatures in mind that need a little… release. But first, I want to break both him and his son and I have something special in mind. Let's see how the father likes being raped by his son over and over."

My eyes widened. I knew Luci could be evil but damn, even I didn't think of anything like that. I saw the look of shock on everyone's face. Then I saw the smiles grow on the whole group and shivered. It seems they all hated Daniel more than I'd realized.
