Chapter 121: A Sorceress's Arrival

Aside from the brief opportunity to meet Foltest, the biggest gain for Lann on this trip was the Viper School witcher in front of him.

At this moment, Kolgrim has taken back his equipment confiscated by the locals: a set of armor, mainly leather armor, with chain mail-style reinforcements on the shoulders and waist, but no rivet design to help attack. Close fit and dexterity are the main design intentions.

He carries two snake-headed long swords on his back, and two daggers are tied around his waist and the outside of his thighs. In addition to potions, there are many extra small bottles of poison in his alchemy backpack. These are obviously not means to deal with monsters, but people.

He has the Viper School medallion hanging around his neck.

There were still bruises and blood on Kolgrim's face, but his complexion had improved a lot.

"Thank you, you saved my life, brother witcher."

Lann smiled. "Please call me Lann directly. I'm sure no one would pass by after witnessing something like that. The so-called trial was ridiculous."

Faced with Lann's closeness and courtesy, Kolgrim sighed. "You are definitely from the Gryphon School." Then, he said seriously: "Then Lann, how do you want me to repay you for saving my life? Please tell me."

It was just what Lann was waiting for. He invited the other party to sit down, poured a glass of wine for each of them.

"I plan to rebuild the Order of Witchers in Cintra. I now have the support of the entire Griffin School and the Wolf School. You appear at the right time, Kolgrim."

"You may not be clear about the recent situation in Cintra. Let me explain..."

When Kolgrim heard Lann talking about rebuilding the Order of Witchers, he was stunned, and then when he heard Lann talking about Cintra's recent situation and Lann's control and planning for Cintra, his eyes widened even more.

What's going on? While the Viper School is on the brink of extinction and forced to act as assassins, a Gryphon has quietly gone from knight to earl, and it looks like he will soon control an entire kingdom?

"Not only that, Kolgrim." Seeing Kolgrim's surprised expression, Lann decided to tell more information to leave him even more surprised. "I have seen in the books of our school that the purpose of the Viper School is to deal with the Wild Hunt, right?"

Hearing Lann's question, Kolgrim nodded. This was not something that needed to be concealed.

The founder of the Viper School was called Ivar Evil Eye, one of the first witchers created by Alzur. Not only that, Ivar also showed excellent adaptability to mutation, so he was selected to participate in more complex and dangerous experiments.

Fortunately, Ivar not only survived advanced experiments with extreme risks, but also gained his 'Evil Eye', allowing him to see through dimensions and observe other worlds.

In the endless world that Ivar could observe, for some reason, he could always see a group of soldiers wearing heavy skeleton armor slaughtering. This made him, who had a strong sense of morality and justice, very distressed and angry. He consulted a lot of classics for this purpose, and finally found a book that recorded this army, and learned that they were called 'Wild Hunt'.

Unfortunately, Ivar can only see the other world, but cannot go there in person. His mind was constantly tormented by the thunder and ghostly howls that the Wild Hunt caused on the worlds he visited.

After the Order of Witchers was disbanded, Ivar followed the voice of his heart and established the Viper School, whose purpose was to defeat the Wild Hunt.

The Wild Hunt is also an enemy of Lann. The Elder Blood within him is something the Wild Hunt has always been seeking to recover.

This is one of the cards Lann is using to lure the Viper School.

"I have Elder Blood." Lann said. "Moreover, this power has awakened in me, and it will definitely attract the Wild Hunt."

To prove his point, Lann knocked on the table and the potions and alchemical bombs prepared by Jerome were released from the [Inventory], filling the table completely.

Kolgrim was shocked again at that moment. It is unknown whether it was because of the space power displayed by Lann, or because of the table full of high-level bombs and potions.

After a while, Kolgrim recovered. He asked hesitantly: "I know about the Elder Blood, but... why is it related to the Wild Hunt?"

Lann was stunned, thought briefly and made a somewhat impertinent conjecture, then asked: "Your School has been studying the Wild Hunt for hundreds of years, right?"

Kolgrim nodded confidently. "No one knows the Wild Hunt better than us! Master Ivar even saw the members of the Wild Hunt without their helmets. So we know they have elf ears!"

Kolgrim expected to see surprise on Lann's face, but what he got was an expression he didn't know how to accurately describe.

Lann sighed, realizing she had taken too many things for granted. Until now, there has not been a record of a person with fully developed Elder Blood in this world. Not even mages know beyond the vague idea that 'the Elder Blood is the most powerful in the world' or through some prophecies that indicate that the Elder Blood is a saving force.

Lann was patient and began to explain the details to Kolgrim.

Then Kolgrim was once again dumbfounded.

After Kolgrim recovered, he thought for a moment and said: "I can take your words to the current leader of our school, his name is Letho."

"If what you said is true, he can... It doesn't matter, I can't guarantee that Letho will join you, but I promise to bring him to you. You may need to convince him when he is here."

Lann nodded. He didn't expect to succeed overnight. "That's enough."

"Don't worry." Kolgrim smiled. "Based on my understanding of Letho, he is likely to agree to you, and even if he doesn't come, I will come to help you." He said seriously: "Just carrying a message is not enough to thank you for your help. If it weren't for my duty to deliver the plans, I would go to Cintra to help you right now."

Lann also laughed, and was about to say something else, when suddenly, the griffin medallion on his neck began to vibrate violently.

He frowned and noticed that the Kolgrim medallion also reacted in the same way.

Suddenly, a strong wind filled the room, then a portal appeared from which a woman with ash blonde hair emerged.

Lann grabbed the trembling locket and looked closely at the woman's face, and it was another familiar face.

And he knew that he would finally be able to see the King of Temeria.

The sorceress in front of them was wearing a purple-blue top, the fabric was skimpy, exposing her arms, her neck, and even much of her torso. Her crimson pink skirt had more fabric than her blouse, and although sorceresses were known for her bold style, she stood out even more.

The sorceress's name was Keira Metz.

"You are Lann of Cintra?" Keira smiled slightly and raised her chin involuntarily. "Triss is my precious friend, thank you for saving her."

Lann smiled slightly when he saw Keira's posture, and signaled Kolgrim, who had already drawn his sword, to stay calm, and walked towards Keira step by step.

Keira wasn't sure what Lann was about to do, but she didn't back down. So she, with her small frame, moved forward as Lann approached, lifting her chin higher and higher.

But this time, the raising of her chin was not because of arrogance, but because of the difference in height.

Seeing Keira's slightly embarrassed expression, Lann nodded in satisfaction, took the other party's hand, and prepared to bow chivalrously. "It's a pleasure to meet you, miss. I'm Lann Lannister..."

The bedroom door suddenly slammed open, and Milva jumped in, followed closely by House.

"My Lord, I just heard the sound of wind in the room, it seems to be a portal, did you..."

House, who often came into contact with mages alongside Lann, was already familiar with the portal, but the sight of Lann and an unknown sorceress holding hands just a step away made him feel strange.

House hurriedly bowed his head to admit his mistake, pulling Milva, who was wide-eyed, to apologize and leave.

Lann gave him a helpless look. "Since you are here, stay. If you are here to protect me, don't go too far."

"In fact, it would be nice if you served this lady a drink, she is the advisor to the royal family of Temeria and companion of Triss."

After giving instructions to House, Lann turned away again, momentarily forgetting what he had planned.

"You're in the middle of your presentation and about to kiss the back of his hand." Kolgrim reminded him from behind.

Lann turned around and put on a social smile again, bending down while introducing himself: "I am Lan Lannister, people call me the Lion of Cintra."

Lann lowered his head and kissed his own thumb.

She enjoyed the respect reflected in this kind of chivalric etiquette and soon forgot the embarrassment and awkwardness of looking up at Lann at this moment.
