The conversation continued. Merlin asked and told Matin a lot of things; some of which were him revealing his real name and telling Matin to take care of Maye and Winson. Not long after, he got up from his chair and walked out of the room, heading back to the carriage.
Matin walked alongside Merlin. He wanted to accompany Merlin to his destination.
A convoy of carriages traveled to a large mansion. The mansion was neatly prepared for Merlin's family.
Even though Merlin never said who he would bring, Matin arranged everything so nicely for him.
The grand mansion was fully furnished and packed with servants.
All the people that Matin had prepared for him were trustworthy.
So, Merlin could rest assured about Maye’s well-being to a certain extent.
Merlin stayed in the Waldecian City for a while. He spent most of his time producing potions for the Blue Cloak Shop.
Using a lot of magical alphabet power, he became tremendously better at it.
