Disharmony Part I

Soon the funeral for King Aragon XV was held extravagantly.

People were mourning and in disarray at the same time, due to news of the surrounding kingdoms' movement on the border of the Kingdom of Aragon.

Most of the nobles urged the appointment of Duke Cowe, the first heir to the king. It was unanimously agreed within the peerage that the new king would be ordained within three days after the former king's funeral.

The funeral of the former king had gone perfectly. After that, the coronation day of the new King of Aragon came.

The courtyard of the royal palace was crammed with people. Countless citizens of the Kingdom of Aragon participated in the event.

Most nobles of high rank were called into the palace to attend the ceremony.

According to the customs of the kingdom's law, the enthronement was just a ritual. But the implication of it was that the heir of the throne would automatically take up the title of the king when the former king passed away or abdicated the throne.
