But the good thing was that Merlin was thoughtful and secretly sent the Astral out first. Not only that, but in the Astral Tower, there was also a crystal shining brightly on the high platform that was like Merlin's throne.


The glowing crystal contained a fragment of Merlin's soul.


Shortly after the building of the Astral Tower, Merlin said to the Astral: “Light lives, man lives. Light dies, man dies."


Merlin planned to leave the Astral Tower in the hands of the Astral. He had no intention of staying in the Kingdom of Aragon for the rest of his life. So he created this crystal to represent him.


This glowing crystal could tell Merlin's existence. If applied to the piece from the Branch of the Holy Mother, the Astral would be able to contact Merlin.
