In this realm, there were many cities that were protected by barriers. A small town that was somewhat strong had a blue alphabet barrier while almost all the big cities in the kingdom had green barriers protecting them.


All these barriers that guarded these cities had their duration. Every ten years the alphabet power declined. Therefore, the city rulers always needed to find Alphabet Users to fill up the barriers.


Even the capital of Aragon was the same. A strong green alphabet power barrier. Once, many years ago, King Aragon kept asking Merlin to be the one who replenished the alphabet power to the city's barrier.
