“How long will it take us to get to where Samoa is?” Prince Arthur asked. His feet were moving rapidly, following Merlin without leaving much space.
“The territory of the first peak takes over a thousand and three hundred kilometers. With this speed, we might reach Samoa's territory in at least a couple of days,” Merlin replied calmly.
The last time he came to the Outlaw Mountain Range, Eric carried him in, and Samoa carried him out.
Merlin did not travel on his own.
This amount of time was his estimate.
In fact, they could have asked Samoa to take them there. But the movement of a mountain master would, of course, be noticed by the other mountain masters. Or worse, Taquira and Yaquira would know.
This was an escape plan.
Making others aware of their moves could be as bad as parting the grass to wake a snake.
Having Samoa come out to take them was therefore not an option.
The best Samoa could help them was by simply giving them directions.
