It must be known that using Battle Animals required an immense amount of concentration power.

For the Novice Magi, their limit was using an Alphabet Battle Animal at a time.

The higher the level of the Battle Animals, the more concentration power was required. Therefore, each Novice was able to use only one of them at a time.

However, there were still some Magi who used more than one Alphabet Battle Animal. They chose low-level Battle Animals so that they could adequately control them with the concentration power that they had.

In this case, many Regulators saw Merlin’s method.

But being able to control five Alphabet Battle Animals was a very astonishing thing. Although they were just the blue-level ones, they still required quite a lot of concentration power.
