The Mission

Bell and others reached the church.

Bell " The church had been repaired recently. I hope you like it."

Lefiya " Mm, Not bad. "

?????? " Is this where we are going to stay? "

Lefiya with a smile" Sure, did you like it?"

Bell was staring at the girl. Bell moved closer to her and try to have a closer look at the girl. Suddenly he noticed a red gem on her forehead. Bell was taken aback.

Bell " LEFIYA, IS SHE A VOUIVRE AND MORE IMPORTANTLY SHE CAN SPEAK."

Lefiya pulled her closer to her " Bell, Please let me explain, okay, we found her in the dungeon, she was running from us, but once we caught up to her she pleaded us not to kill her. So we couldn't kill her. She was really wounded and was scared. We couldn't leave her there either. So we brought her with us.  "

Bell " You can't go to your home with her, so you guys came to me for help ,Huh "

Elfy " Yes.., If you would please...."

Bell thinking for a while. Then he looked at the girl. She got scared and hide herself behind Lefiya. 

Bell " Do you guys even know about the gravity of the situation you are in? "

Lefiya " I know, But we can't ask anybody other than you."

Bell " Then what about your Familia members, especially miss Aiz. At least she would have helped.  "

Lefiya " It's true that we both admire her, but when it come to monsters, I can't guarantee that she would help us. "

Bell " Why ??"

Elfy " Riveria once mentioned that she had a dark past with the monsters. So it's only natural for her to hate monsters.  So no one can tell how she will react to this situation. "

Lefiya " That's why we can't take a risk? . So Bell please, lend me your help. "

Bell thinking for a while. 

Bell "Okay, fine. You guys owe me one."

Lefiya, Wiene and Elfy became happy.

Lefiya " Thank you, I swore I will repay you one day. "

Bell let out a sign and  leaned closer to the girl.

Bell" Okay kid, what's your name?"

???? " Wiene. "

Bell and others " W-I-E-N-E"

Bell " From which floor did you find her?"

Elfy " In the 20th Floor."

Bell " So for how long were you in that floor?, Wiene. "

Wiene " I was with Lyd and others for a long time, But a bunch of adventurers attacked on our way to the 27th floor and I got separated from them. I almost got into the safe zone in the 20th floor But some adventurers spotted me. So I run from them and then I met Lefiya. If it wasn't for her , I would have been ended as a slave for some humans."

Bell and other " A SLAVE. And who is Lyd by the way? "

Wiene " Lyd is the captain of our group, The XENOS"

Lefiya " XENOS"

Wiene " That's what we like to call ourself. We have a total member of 30. Lyd used to warn about some adventurers who try to enslave us instead of killing and sell us to Nobles as slaves."

Elfy " An illegal trafficking."

Lefiya " Do you know any one of these adventures?, Wiene."

Wiene " No, not exactly. But I remember one of their name, Lyd used to say it quiet often."

Bell " Good, tell me who is it?"

Wiene " It's DIX PERDIX"

Bell " Sorry, no idea. Any guess guys."

Elfy " I have heard of him. He is the captain of the Ikelos Familia. He become level 5, 9 years ago. Then that means he must be a level 6 by now."

Lefiya " It's way more problematic than we thought. I can't even think about what my Familia members feel about it. "

Elfy " We can't hide it from them for long? Master Finn will see through all of us. Aahh..... What are we supposed to do now?."

Bell was thinking seriously.

Bell " Wiene. Before we help each other, I would like to know something. WHAT ARE YOU GUYS AIMING FOR?"

Then it started to rain. Wiene moved towards the window and looked at the raindrops falling to the ground. A cold breeze came inside the room silently.

Wiene " We  all share a single desire from the very start. We love to feel the heat of the sun ,to stand in this rain and to feel this cold breeze just like you guys. We want to live in the surface among all the humans."

A moment of silence.

Lefiya and Elfy appreciated the boldness of Wiene.

Bell "If you guys keep yourself to your wish, then maybe some day we all can live here on the surface in peace. But if you change your minds then we will do the same too. There won't be any mercy at all."

Wiene " Sure, we will do our best to not cause trouble to anyone."

After one day, Eina gave Bell a  sealed letter to give it to Hestia. The guild asked Hestia Familia members to move to the 27th floor of the dungeon along with Wiene.

Hestia and Bell have confirmed that the guild already know about the existance of Xenos. In the same letter, in sacred letters Hestia was asked to meet up with a certain person.

A squad consisting of Bell, Lefiya, Aisha, Lili, Mikoto, Wiene & Haruhime began their journey to the 27th floor. On the 18th floor they were encountered by a  Goliath. 

Bell asked them to stand back and let him have a solo with the beast. Lefiya and Aisha said no first. Then he said that he wanted to level up to 4 and it is the only way. 

Actually he was looking for a reason for leveling up to 4, so that he can say that so the Guild. Goliath has overwhelming strength. But with the escape ability and high agility Bell was able to dodge most of the attacks. 

But unfortunately one of it's fist hit him very badly. He was smashed into the wall near by. Most of his bones cracked and he was socked in Blood. 

Aisha " That's what you get for soloing a floor Boss."

Lefiya " Such a pain in the Ass."

Lili " Now you proved that you are the most idiotic person in Orario."

Haruhime " Why you guys still standing here and not doing anything? Help him out."

Aisha " If I remember correctly he said not to interfere in his battle. "

Elfy " That's right, let him learn through his mistakes."

Mikoto " He have been holding on by  himself for a while now. Now that he is injured badly, I don't think he is going to make it. Let's step in an finish this off. "

Bell was lying on the floor. Bell was struggling to get up. Then suddenly  all the broken bones began to rejoin and all his wounds began to heal very rapidly. A smoke arises from his body. Bell was able to stand up on his feet within a few seconds. 

This surprised everyone.

Bell then suddenly charged Argonaut on his hand. Goliath realized that as a thread and attacked again. Bell was able to dodge that attack but the Goliath caught him with his other hand. Bell still had his Hestia sword on his sheath. The Goliath dropped him into  his own mouth and crushed him with his teeth. Bell's right hand dropped out of It's  mouth.

  The others were late to respond to the situation. Lili and Haruhime were terrified by that scene. Then everyone started fighting the Goliath seriously. Goliath was corned by them. The Goliath doesn't seem to go down with out a fighting. 

Lefiya was chanting her powerful magic while others protect her. Aisha and Mikoto were have to go Solo with it. 

Then the sound of Bell's magic Echoed through the air. The Goliath noticed that it's brown Belly is shining.  The sound of Bell become louder and louder. This situation terrified the Goliath. It began to scream in fear. 

(Inside it's mouth, Bell was able to heal and reform his crushed figure, thanks to his ability 'High healing'. Bell slipped into it's stomach. The stomach acid began to  take action, But his healing ability slowed down the melting of his skin. Bell with great aggression, pulled out the Hestia knife from his sheath with his left arm and stabbed it on it's stomach wall in the direction of the Magic stone. The Argonaut skill was activated. After Two minutes of chanting, Bell felt instance Pain due to the melting of his skin. Bell was unable to hold it anymore and He screamed "ARGO VESTA".)

Lili sensed that something is  about to happen and asked others to pull back.  Then suddenly the Goliath's belly began to grown bigger and bigger. Then with a huge sound the goliath's upper body along with the Magic stone exploded  into million pieces from inside. 

When all the dust and smoke was gone they saw a badly wounded Bell lying on the floor.

Bell was taken to Rivera. With Lefiya's healing magic they were able to reattach Bell's right arm. He was very badly injured. He was taking rest in the room. They all started to doubt about his level.

Since the Hestia cannot be afford to fail this expedition, they decided to go on their own leaving Bell in the Bed.

It was tough path for them without Bell. But they somehow managed to get themselves into the 27th floor. But unfortunately they were confronted by Dix and his friend. Then they demanded to handover Wiene to them. Our team refused. And off course, this comes down to a fight.

While our team was struggling with them, the Xenos along with Fels came to them for the aid. Our team were confused first, but latter they understand who they are through Wiene ( in the middle of the fight). The Dix guy released his chaos skill upon them.

Then the Xenos go on a rampage. Our team struggled real hard. Then they all heard a loud roar through the opening of the 28th floor. The roar break through the chaos skill  and make them come back to senses. 

There comes our hero, Asterius. The Xenos  were surprised to see him while our team got terrified. Lyd asked Asterius to take down the bad guys. Asterius without wasting much time, punched  the hell out of them (especially Dix ). 

The Ikelos Familia run away with their life.  Then our team had a brief and nice discussion with the Xenos. But Asterius was a very quiet type. He only speaks when it is necessary. Xenos guys explained everything including their thread, origin and dreams.

Then it's final time good buy to Wiene. The Xenos guys thanked Lefiya for saving Wiene  and returning her to them. They also send special regard to Bell as well.

When our team returned to Rivera, Bell was already awake. They were all glad to have him back. Then they talked about  their meeting with Xenos and the confrontation with Ikelos Familia members. 

After taking enough time to heal his wounds our team came back to the surface. Hestia  had a meeting with Ouranos through Fels.  They discussed about the existence of Xenos and how they wanted them to be their hope in the coming future. When Bell returned Hestia told everything about her meeting with Ouranos.

Bell then had a status update. All his abilities climb the rank H. Now our protagonist is a level 4 adventurer with a new skill Argo Vesta. 

Bell reported to the guild that he had level up by soloing the Goliath. Eina was shocked to hear that. He also present the proof. Bell restarted the training with Aiz. They continue training for a month. 

  On evening Bell was going home after training.  Bell was really exhausted,  so he decided to have a drink. He was having a drink in a pub ( not the Hostess of Fertility), then  a guy  came up to him.

???? " Hey Kid, are you the captain of the Hestia Familia ?"
