The High Elf defeated

Bell struggled to get home. His legs were shaking. His head and chest is in pain. He was walking through a lonely passage. He suddenly crumbled to his knees.

Bell " Dawn it, I lost again. He was tough as hell. "

???? " You lost because you are inexperienced."

Bell looked in the direction of the voice. There stood a high Elf. It was Hedin of the Freya Familia.

Bell then looked down " Yes, you are right, I am inexperienced."

Then he tried to stand up. His legs were still aching. He struggled just to stand. When he was about to fall down again, Hedin caught him and helped.

Hedin with a smile" But for an inexperienced one, you did very well."

Bell looked at Hedin " Thank you"

Hedin supported Bell in his shoulder and helped him walk home.

Bell " Why are you helping me? I thought you guys don't like me coming anywhere near your Goddess. "

Hedin with another smile " Not everyone is the same in our Familia."

Bell " I see....."

Hedin helped Bell get home. Hestia thanked Hedin for the help. Hedin said his goodbyes to them. Bell was healed by using the portions. When Lefiya get back , she helped him heal his wounds with her magic.

Bell was laying on his bed.

Lefiya " How did you survive that monster? I thought you were going to die down there."

Bell " It was only mere luck that he agreed to settle our fight next time. "

Lili " So we have a big storm coming soon ,huh "

Hestia " Neither of you were wrong, if you ask me. But still, Bell- kun you can't loose next time. "

Bell " Yes I got it, Goddess"

Lefiya " You better start working out soon, no one can tell when that bull will get back to have you ass."

Aisha " She is right, you better heal up fast."

Bell " Sorry to make you all worry, guys and thanks for your support. I promise to do my best next time."

Everyone had a small smile on their faces.

Hestia " All right girls, gave us some space for us for the update. "

Then the girls went out of the room. Hestia updated his status. All his abilities got to rank SS.

Hestia " Dawn, that bull really pushed you to the limits. Wait, you have another skill too. Ox Slayer. Mmmm "

Hestia " Bell kun you really have a thing for minotours don't you?"

Bell " It can't be helped, Goddess."

Hestia then decided to level him up to Level 5.

Lefiya and others wanted to know how Bell become strong so quickly all of a sudden. So they decided to ask Hestia about it.

Lefiya " Goddess Hestia, we all have something to ask you for long."

Hestia " What is it Lefiya ?"

Aisha " It's just that we would like to know how Bell become so strong within a short span of time."

Hestia could see the curiousness in their eyes.

Lefiya " We promise, we won't reveal our Familia matters to anybody."

All of them promised Hestia not to tell anybody about their Captain's skills.

Hestia told them the truth about about Bell's true skills and it's effects on his actions. All of them were amazed to know Bell's true potential. They all truly wished for a skill like him. Hestia told them to work hard, so that may be they will get a rare skill just like him.

They all agreed to what had what Hestia told them. They Hestia handed them the status sheet to them. When they looked at those status, unknowingly their mouth touched the bottom.

One week have passed. Bell had completely recovered from all the injuries. Bell decided to go on for a walk with Lili. They both talked a lot about the future plans for the Familia. Then they decided to have a cup of tea from a shop. Lili suggested a good shop.

Fortunately Hedin was inside that shop in the reserved room. He was also having a cup of tea. Hedin noticed both of them. Bell and Lili didn't notice him. They ordered for coffee. Hedin almost finished his meals. Hedin just decided

Bell " I see.."

Lili " Master Bell, I would like to know about your past. I mean how did you become a half vampire."

Bell become silent for a minute.

Lili " Bell sama ......."

Bell with a smile " So you want to hear my backstory. Well, were to begin. Long ago I was born as a human just like anybody around. If I recall correctly, my father was a farmer, really hardworking and kind. My mother, a tailor, young and beautiful. You won't believe, I did have a elder sister. Life was going very well for us. But one fine morning in the summer, I lost everything that I hold dear to myself. Those monsters hunt us down one by one. They sacrificed their lives for me. But those monsters didn't stop their rampage. They did come after me too. Then I was saved by a Witch, a vampire witch. She took me as her servant as a payment for saving my life. As time passed I grew Old and Old. Finally My royalty towards her paid off. She gave her blood to me and asked me to serve her longer. That's how I become a vampire, It does bring my youth back. Then I served her for more than 400 years. By that time I learned a lot from her. Finally when she finally able to achieve her dream, she granted a wish of mine, to walk in the warm sunlight. Then she set me free, asking me to live my life. When I was set free, I didn't know what to do, or where to go. I wandered around for quiet a long time in search of a goal. So tied of living, I finally made my mind to end it for good. When I was about to do it, an old man asked me what I was doing. I tried to avoid him. But the old man keep on interrupting all my attempts. Then one day I asked him why, Then he offered a goal to me. A goal to be a hero. At first I asked myself, why I should save people. Then I remember that tragic day that took everything from me. Then I decided to give it a try. I started as a supporter just like you. Then slowly I find myself enjoying saving people just for a their smile. But of course there are times I saw mean faces. But now I realize that they are my fuel to push forward. Then I started making those mean faces into smiles. That's when I got the name ' THE JOCKER'. "

Lili was listening intensely. She become sad.

Lili " I am sorry for asking that and making you sad."

Bell with a normal smile " Lili, do I appear like crying "

Lili was surprised to see Bell smiling. " But why?"

Bell " Just crying won't bring anything back. It will only make others sad. That means I can't see their smiles. I don't want that. I just want all of you all to smile from the bottom of your hearts."

Lili with a smile " O I see. You won't never change. Master Bell. "

Bell and Lili were stunned to realize that they were overhead. That person was Hedin himself. He come forward and sit on an empty chair next to Bell.

Bell " Mr. Hedin, I don't think it's good manners to overhearing others. "

Hedin " Oo , where are my manners, I am sorry. But still I can't believe that you are way too older than Lady Riveria. "

Bell thinking ' Where the hell did he show up ? If anyone got to know my real age, I will become the laughing stock for all. I must chance the topic, or else he is going to tell others. '

Bell " Okay Mr Hedin, How do you feel about my story?"

Hedin " Nothing much different from any of us."

Bell " So I guess you too have an interesting story to tell."

Hedin with a smile" Yes, we all do have, But aren't you trying to change the subject. Well I was thinking about whom should I reveal this truth firstly."

Bell thinking ' Tck.. It didn't go well. Then Should I buy him. No no that's not practical for this guy. Think think, or else I am doomed."

Bell " Please Lili and Mr Hedin , Don't tell this to anyone. It's too embarrassing to hear others calling me a 'Geezer'. And more importantly about my true identity, I can't let the people know about it either. "

Lili laughing and giggling " Okay I will try my best. "

Hedin " Sorry Geezer, It's too embarrassing for me to call you a Kid after hearing this truth. I am going to tell others. "

Hedin " Ever since I saw you fight against that Minotour, I always wanted to fight you. I wanted to know who is stronger among us . "

The next morning, Bell and Hestia went to Folkvangr. They stood before the strong gates. Hestia and Bell looked at each.

Hestia " Best of luck, Bell kun"

Bell " Thank you, Goddess"

The gate opened. A red haired girl stood before them. She was Heith Velvet. She lead them to the training ground. Everyone was eagerly waiting for them. Hedin was standing all along in the ground. Freya was sitting on a big chair on top of a small building nearby. She will be able to view the battle clearly. Freya invited Hestia to come and have her seat which was next to Freya. Bell noticed that Amid was also present there. Bell then realized that the fight is going to be bloody.

Hedin " You really showed up, I appreciate it."

Bell looked very calm.

Bell " Any terms and conditions?"

Freya " It's quiet simple, If Hedin wins, you will join my Familia. If you win, then you can have your wish. "

Bell was surprised to hear that. Hestia was kind of expecting something like this.

Bell " My wish.."

Hedin " Go ahead make your wish."

Bell thought for a while and then he announced " If I win Hedin Selland will join my Familia."

Freya and others laughed at the joke.

Freya " You are quiet a joker aren't you, if that's what you wished for then so be it. Then let the battle begin."

Bell " It was your plan wasn't it ?, Hedin."

Hedin " Anything good for my Goddess."

A moment of silence Between them

Bell " Let's do our best."

Hedin " Try not to die on me."

Both of them exchanged a smirk to each other and launched towards each other.

Bell was inexperienced in the battle field, that's what they thought this all time. But once the battle begin, Bell was able to hold on all by himself against Hedin. But was holding the advantage of being a high level 6 and more experience in the battle field. Freya was really surprised to see that Bell is putting up a great fight against Hedin.

Hedin decided to go all out. He used his magic against Bell. Bell was surprised when he used concurrent chanting. Bell's body even got paralyzed for few seconds. Hedin made very good use of those seconds to injure Bell even more. He trusted his spear several times in Bell's body. But Hedin was surprised to see that his wounds heals very fast and completely in an instant.

Bell finally decided to use Jocker Skill. The Hedin and Bell began fight like equals. All of them including Frey and Hedin were surprised to know the true strength of Bell. This time Bell slashed Hedin at different parts of his body. Hedin used his magic to increase his speed and attack. But was able to keep up with Hedin. Bell was about to reach his limit. Hedin knocked away the Hestia sword from his hand and stabbed his spear in his shoulder and pinned him to the wall.

Hedin asked him to give up. Freya already have the smile on her face. All others had a pitiful expression on their face. Hedin twisted his spear just to see the despair in Bell's eye. But Bell was extremely calm. This angered him. Hedin then used his lighting magic on his spear to make Bell paralyze and ultimately defeat him.

Just before the lighting go through his body, Bell noticed that his cursed sword was laying only a meter away from. Just when the lighting touched Bell's body, Bell split his body into a group of bats. This bats flew around Hedin and bite him from all sides. Hedin was struggling to pull of each of those bats.

Then suddenly Hedin noticed that the cursed sword was already missing. Before He could even react to his senses, he was stabbed from behind. Everyone was like what the hell was going on. Bell thrusted his entire cursed sword through his back that pierced through his belly. Hedin coughed a lot of blood from his mouth. Hedin felt like his life was being sucked away by that sword. Hedin felt sleepy and it didn't took so long for him to become unconscious.

Bell pulled out his sword from his back. Hedin fell to the ground.

Bell " You are too young to defeat me, Hedin."

Amid and Heith rushed towards Hedin to heal his wounds. Ottar announced Bell Cranel as the winner of the battle.

Allen " What the hell just happened?"

Alfrigg " That idiot let his guard down."

Vanir " He is clearly not a level 4. "

Horn has lot her words.

Heith while still healing Hedin looked at Bell with lots of anger in her eyes " Bell Cranel, you are a f***ing monster."

Freya with an unbelievable expression on her face "Hedin is defeated, this can't be happening. "

Hestia with a wicked smile " Freya, you will stick to your word, won't you my dear?"

Freya let out a long sigh " Okay fine, do as you wish. "
