Chapter 949: Kidnapping

About thirty rounds later, Ma Lin seized an opportunity, using a feint to stab the opponent's thigh.

He then counterattacked for three rounds but, realizing he couldn't defeat his opponent, shifted back to a defensive stance.

The opponent was initially surprised but soon surged in confidence and continued the fight while hurling insults at him.

Thirty more rounds followed.

Under normal circumstances, Ma Lin's hands would no longer be steady enough to hold his sword, and each block put him at a disadvantage, costing him greatly.

Yet, he was fueled by a determination, feeling he still had the upper hand.

Even if the heel of his hand bled from the shock, it barely mattered.

Finally, he got a chance, swept the opponent's club away with his sword, charged into his embrace, and thrust deeply into his stomach.

Blood splattered.

The opponent conceded.
