Chapter 108：Bedroom talk

After everything had settled down, the two exhausted individuals lay on the bed, having just experienced what felt like a battle to both of them.

Lin Ruotong, the apparent attacker, was exhausted, especially her hands, which were sore from the exertion. 

Li Weijie, the one who had been on the receiving end, had been enjoying himself but now felt a lingering soreness after enduring over an hour of intense "torture."

Both of them were too tired to resist, so Lin Ruotong didn't refuse when Li Weijie hugged her shoulder. 

After all they had been through, what did it matter if he hugged her?

However, at the end of the task, Lin Ruotong's boldness waned, and she felt extremely embarrassed. She didn't dare to look at Li Weijie.

"Ruojie..." 

Although he wanted to sleep at this moment, Li Weijie wouldn't allow himself to do so. 

Lin Ruotong's actions had deeply moved him. She must be exhausted and feeling complicated right now. If he only focused on his enjoyment and slept, it would surely hurt her.

"Ruojie... Be my girlfriend!" Li Weijie said with excitement.

Lin Ruotong's body trembled slightly as she turned to look into Li Weijie's eyes. They silently locked gazes for a moment. She smiled gently and said, "Silly boy, what happened just now was necessary, and I willingly helped you. You don't need to take responsibility for that."

"No, I mean it!" Li Weijie insisted.

Lin Ruotong reached out and lightly touched his cheek with her finger. 

She said softly, "Ajie, I know you mean it, but... you're not calm or rational right now. It's just a momentary impulse. We haven't known each other for long, and I'm a few years older than you. I've also had boyfriends before, so we're not suitable."

Li Weijie admitted that he was a bit impulsive, but he still said, "What does age matter? Some couples have an age difference of ten years or more. We haven't known each other for long, but we have a great connection. And we can spend more time together in the future, right? What does it matter if you've had boyfriends before? It's not a problem at all!"

When Lin Ruotong joked around with Li Weijie, she was more open and enthusiastic than Xu Rong and the others. 

This was due to her experience in business dealings, where people tend to be more relaxed and open in their conversations. Li Weijie didn't mind, and besides, her boyfriend had been dead for a long time.

Lin Ruotong suddenly turned over, leaned over Li Weijie, and without any warning, kissed him passionately on the lips. (Of course, she had washed up and cleaned herself first.)

What else could Li Weijie say? 

He also knew that his feelings for Lin Ruotong weren't that strong. It was just because of what had happened that his emotions had suddenly intensified. 

But upon careful consideration, he also realized that what she said made sense. 

If they made a hasty decision out of momentary impulse and regretted it later, it would be better to let things develop naturally.
