The dark mage.

"Do you already have the other founding members? Can you tell us about them?"

"No, but I will have them soon. We will be holding an audition, the details of which will be shared during this week through my Pictogram account, '@BlazeIgnis_001'."

Blaze turned his phone screen towards them, which displayed his account with zero posts. Since, there were many cameras on live around him, his followers were increasing rapidly in real time. They went from hundreds to thousands and then, hundreds of thousands in a matter of seconds!

A male reporter then asked him, "Are there any requirements for the auditions?"

Blaze's smile deepened as he replied.

"None whatsoever. It doesn't matter if you have a low rank, a rare class or if you have an elemental or not. If you think that you have the skills and potential, then you are welcome to apply. I would also be selecting people for the second and third raid teams through this audition."

Blaze flashed a bright smile towards the cameras, "Please, feel free to apply."

Blaze's handsome face looked even more charming at that moment and many people were staring at his face. Frore internally cliched his tongue. He hated how other people were staring at Blaze. However, he just stood there without a change in his expression because he knew that he couldn't interrupt Blaze's work for his own personal reasons.

At this point, Blaze's account was so overloaded with the rate of increasing followers, that the app crashed!

The reporter named Mary, then pointed her mic towards Frore, who was standing a step behind Blaze.

"Mr. Frost how do you feel about your brother becoming a S-ranked hunter?"

Frore answered with an expression less face. "...I am proud of him."

Blaze heard it and thought to himself.

{You don't have to answer it, if it makes you feel uncomfortable, you know?}

Frore wasn't uncomfortable, he was just in a foul mood due to a lot of events that have happened today.

The tone Frore had answered in didn't match his statement at all. Anyone watching him would think that he was unhappy, rather than being proud !

Blaze had to interject awkwardly while laughing.

"Hahaha...my brother is a rather shy person."

Mary pointed here mic back to Blaze and asked, "Mr. Blaze were you disappointed when you found out that your little brother was a B-ranked hunter?"

"No, not at all. Why would I be? Everyone is unique. Just because he is my brother, there is no need to compare him with me. Even if he was awakened as a F-rank, I would still have cheered him on. Besides, B-rank is not bad at all."

Frore stared at him with bright eyes. His adoption parents were very disappointed in him when they found out that he was a F - rank, they even cursed at him for being useless, trash.

{...Do you really believe that, Blaze?}

Mary and the other reporters looked like they were satisfied with his answers and they nodded their heads.

{I have already fulfilled my objective, now it's time I finished this.}

Blaze looked at his phone screen and pretended to be busy.

"I would have to apologise, but we would have to cut this short. We have to take our leave now, as we had a prior appointment somewhere. Let's continue this some other time."

Blaze picked up Frore again and vanished. Reappearing outside the gate of their house. Blaze stood silently and was lost in thought while Frore unlocked the door with his key and stepped inside.

Blaze's right eye had been twitching for some time now, a bad omen.

{Well, omens are not always true. There is no need to worry too much about--}

"BLAZE !"

His thoughts were interrupted as he heard Blaze shouting from the inside.

Frore had been quickly sucked up to his waist, by a circular, dark, viscose liquid-like substance spread on the floor of the living room.

Blaze rushed in and saw this scene.

"F*ck, of course it's the 'dark mana marsh'. Frore..CATCH !"

Blaze threw Kaiser at Frore and he caught it, before he got completely submerged into the black marsh, really quickly. All the dark mana was also sucked from the same point , where Frore had been earlier, like there was sink there.

{I was wondering why 'that' person wasn't making a move. I guess it was because they were looking for a chance and a place where I would let my gaurd down. Sh*t, I didn't think they would hack the association's database for our address. Or maybe I am the idiot for not considering that possibility. Let's just hope Frore would be able to hold them without getting hurt, before I get to wherever he was dragged to.}

The reason why Blaze didn't use "Walking on air" immediately to pull Frore out was because 'dark mana marsh' , was a dangerous skill exclusive to advanced dark mages, in which dark mana gets attached to the skin of the target and recklessly pulling it can even cause detachment of limbs of the target stuck in the marsh!

Blaze didn't want to take such a risk, thus he couldn't do it.

Even if Blaze had stepped into the marsh, he wouldn't get sucked into it. That is so, since 'dark mana marsh' is a target specific skill. It would not work on another 'living' subject except for the specified object.

Of course, such a skill has downsides to it as well. For example; you cannot kill a person directly, while using it. It takes a lot of time and materials to set up and you can only choose one target at a time. But, it's still a really useful skill regardless.

Therefore, Blaze could only throw Kaiser at Frore; since it itself is powerful and he can use also it as a G.P.S. tracking device.

However, Blaze knew the truth. That Kaiser and Frore's own power can only manage to buy sometime. That shrewd person, must have many tricks up their sleeve and Frore can not defeat them at his current level.
