Compete With Her

"Damien!" It was the rarest moment when Cotlin dared to call his master by his name. But the rage in his eyes told Damien that Cotlin would not care even if he was given the death sentence. That was the amount of care Cotlin had for Damien. And Damien was grateful for it. The man had been a continuous source of warmth and solace for Damien in the past years.

And his face returned to normal, looking peaceful again. "If you want to tell her the truth, give me a month at least. I promise I will help her in her revenge. Once she is done, you can tell her the truth that you have killed…" he paused. His eyes trembled as he stared at the door.

Eve stood there with a red face. Her stunned eyes gave an ominous feeling to Cotlin.
