She Was The Lure

"I do not need someone to protect me. Let me go or I will slap you hard enough to get everyone's attention. Or do you want me to shout? My father is here, he will make sure that you disappear overnight. You must have known how third sons are treated in the world." She did not struggle or move her hands even a bit from his grip. As if she knew that he would let them go themselves. He would not have a choice.

The way her lips curled into an arrogant smile made a wound on his pride.

"You are trying to play hard to get. Don't you?" he had dragged her on the dark balcony but it was still attached to the dancing room. If she shouted, she would get the attention of many. But then… "you will not shout. Because you might be saved but your reputation would go down the hill. Everyone will question why you followed me here in the first place. Is this not your intention?" he raised a brow with a winning smile on his face.
