An eternal promise

Miyuki left the school, still affected by the unpleasant conversation with Takashi. As she walked towards the parking lot, her mood began to change when she saw Liu Chen waiting for her with a bouquet of roses. The tension faded, and a soft smile spread across her face. She felt lucky to have someone like him in her life.

As she approached Liu Chen, she noticed that several students and teachers were murmuring among themselves, and the students could not hide their envy. The men, on the other hand, were frustrated by their envy of seeing Liu Chen courting Miyuki. Although she was in her thirties, her beauty was still evident.

Miyuki felt uncomfortable with the attention they were receiving. Upon reaching Liu Chen, she thanked him for the roses. Together, they headed to her car, where Liu Chen opened the door for her, as always. As she settled into her seat, Miyuki couldn't help but feel fortunate to have someone like Liu Chen by her side, even if it meant facing envy and gossip.

As Liu Chen handed the roses to Miyuki, she accepted them with a soft smile. Miyuki smiled happily as she thanked him, and Liu Chen responded with a gentlemanly gesture, saying, "Don't worry, Miyuki. How could I not do these simple gestures for the woman who will be my future wife?" Miyuki's cheeks turned slightly red, but she didn't deny such a statement. The atmosphere between them was filled with sweetness and affection.

However, this beautiful moment was interrupted by the arrival of Takashi. The young man intruded into the scene with a possessive attitude, accusing Liu Chen of forcing himself on Miyuki and suggesting that her wealth didn't give him the right to act that way. While Miyuki had a tired expression from watching Takashi sour her mood, Liu Chen began to contemplate how to deal with this situation.

The atmosphere became increasingly tense with Takashi's provocative words. With determination in his voice, the young man insulted Liu Chen, calling him a scoundrel and insisting that Miyuki would never be his. In the midst of his outburst, he revealed that he knew Liu Chen's name, a piece of information that Miyuki had accidentally mentioned during their previous confrontation.

Takashi's words echoed in Liu Chen's ears. Suddenly, a wave of anger began to surge through his body. His expression, previously serene and soft, transformed into a mask of cold and cruelty in the blink of an eye. In his eyes, there was only incandescent anger and a menacing gleam, as his face exhibited fierce determination.

Without wasting a single second, Liu Chen advanced towards Takashi with calculated steps, his gaze conveying a silent threat. Takashi's legs were shaking, and his earlier bravery quickly faded. As Liu Chen approached, his voice, cold as ice and laced with malice, asked the question that hung in the tense air: "What did I just hear come out of your mouth?"

Takashi was dumbstruck as Liu Chen approached, his anger palpable. The people in the surrounding area watched in silence, becoming mute spectators of what was about to unfold. Liu Chen's sudden change had been so drastic that not even Takashi knew how to respond. His reckless words had brought the situation to the point of no return. The air was thick with tension, and conflict was on the verge of erupting.

Liu Chen's voice, icy and menacing, whispered in Takashi's ear, asking why he didn't repeat what he had said earlier. Takashi, paralyzed by fear, couldn't speak a word. The courage he had shown earlier had completely vanished at that moment.

Liu Chen continued, questioning the absence of Takashi's earlier boldness. He insisted that Takashi repeat his words now that they were face to face, close enough to ensure there would be no misunderstanding. The tension in the air grew even heavier, and it was evident that the situation could take an unexpected turn at any moment.

Takashi, feeling cornered and scared, finally uttered a weak "Excuse me" under his breath. Liu Chen, without letting go, demanded that he say it louder and clearly for everyone to hear. Takashi obeyed, publicly apologizing for his reckless comments.

Liu Chen finally released him and warned him to stay away from Miyuki and not interfere with her relationship. After all, Takashi was just a student and had no idea what was happening in Miyuki's life.

The audience breathed a sigh of relief as Liu Chen walked away from Takashi. The latter left the scene, feeling humiliated and ashamed. He had not expected things to take such a drastic and terrifying turn, and now he knew that he should stay away from Liu Chen and Miyuki.

Miyuki looked at Liu Chen with gratitude and relief in her eyes. She appreciated his defense and protection, although she knew his temper could be terrifying in situations like this. Liu Chen gently hugged her and whispered words of comfort, assuring her that he would always be by her side to protect her.

Liu Chen and Miyuki continued on their way towards her house, the comfortable silence wrapping around them like a warm blanket on a cold night. Despite the incident with Takashi, they were enjoying their time together. The city lights flickered in the distance, creating an intimate atmosphere in the car.

Arriving at Miyuki's house, Liu Chen apologized for the missed dinner. "I'm really sorry for the setback. I had planned to invite you to dinner tonight, but due to our argument with Takashi, I ended up losing the reservation."

Miyuki smiled fondly and shook her head. "Don't worry about it, Liu Chen. The roses are beautiful, and this is more than enough to make me happy. Besides, being here with you is a gift in itself."

Miyuki's words made Liu Chen's heart filled with gratitude. He understood her better than anyone else at the time, and her understanding gave him a sense of relief and happiness. Knowing that they had such a deep connection comforted him.

Then, Liu Chen looked at her fondly and took her into her arms. Her embrace was warm and protective, and Miyuki felt wrapped in a whirlwind of emotions. It was as if she were floating in the air, suspended in an ecstasy of happiness. She felt that being in Liu Chen's arms was the safest place in the world.

Liu Chen leaned down and whispered in her ear softly and tenderly. "Don't pay attention to what Takashi said, Miyuki. He doesn't know anything about us. You will be mine, you will become my beloved wife, right?"

Miyuki smiled sweetly, her eyes shining with love. She nodded and responded with a soft but firm voice: "Yes, Liu Chen. I want to be yours, forever."

Liu Chen moved away slightly, his eyes met Miyuki's, and her smile was radiant. The world around them disappeared, and only the love they shared existed. Their lips met in a kiss full of passion and tenderness. Their bodies merged in a passionate embrace, like two souls who had found each other in the midst of the chaos of the world.

The kiss sealed their commitment, and the future seemed bright for this couple in love. Liu Chen hugged her tightly, as if he never wanted to let go of her. In that embrace, they found the peace and love they had been searching for. Together they would face whatever fate had in store for them, knowing that they had the love and complicity of each other to guide them on their journey together.
