I'm not here to hang around

The biggest name on Florence's roster right now is coach Virchoward, a major promotional point for the team.

A great defender alongside Baresi and Bergomi, he played 562 Serie A games in his career. This is second only to Dinosov's 570 games in Italian soccer history, and is arguably the first staring center back in Italian soccer in the 1990s.

He is half Russian, with a Russian father and an Italian mother, and is known as the "Czar" by fans on the pitch. In life, he is also a cold and hard man, somewhat unsympathetic.

He had an extraordinarily long career, playing professionally at the age of just 16 in 1975 and retiring from Serie A with Piacenza until 2000 at the age of 41. Standing at 179c, he was a representative of the hard men of football, fierce for half his life.

A guy like that as a coach would certainly be interested in a physical forward who likes to dislike defenders. When playing soccer, Viljovod was at his best at disliking people.

Basten is all scared of Virchoward because the asshole has a love affair with his ankles and often cuts into him like a tree, sometimes from behind ...

Super Slugger Virchowald, who was always confident when he was playing soccer, is now unsure, if at all, about this coaching job. Because this is his first time coaching, he has no experience.

What's worse, he can't stand the new players in the team at all. After only three days on the job, he wants to curse when he sees these losers playing soccer, and it's too hard to coach them.

He has been playing against big names for his entire career, and at 41 years old, he was the main defender against "Alien" Ronaldo, so you can imagine how high his vision is. The C2 league, in his opinion, is amateur.

Since the team finished registering, people have been coming to tryouts every day. There are players from the second line of teams such as Ancona, Regina, Bologna, Catania, etc., and young players from the Italian amateur teams, except for the stars.

Yesterday there was even a young man who was not strong enough to ingratiate himself to the coach for joining the team, saying that he was a die-hard fan of Virchoward. "Coach, can you teach me how to play soccer?"

Virchowald was so angry he almost stomped on the soccer ball. "And kick the soccer ball?!"

All in all, except for captain Angelo Di Livio, Virchoward is not a man to look at. He felt sure that he was better than this group when he went up to play, even if he had been retired for two years and his fitness had seriously declined.

After sizing up Arthur for a few moments, Virchowald was instantly interested. Just by looking at the figure, he knew that Arthur's physical fitness couldn't be bad. After seeing Arthur's youth training resume, he then froze for a moment.

"You're English, you joined the Arsenal youth academy at the age of 15, and you're still a starter in the u18 ladder. Why did you come on your own for a trial? Where is your agent?" Virchowald was very curious about Arthur. Emily was too young to be a soccer agent but a girlfriend at first glance.

"My agent didn't suggest I come to Italy, so I came on my own." Without an agent Arthur didn't want to say much about the reason and just gave a cooler explanation.

That statement gives the impression that he had a disagreement with his agent and fired the other guy.

Virchowald asked again, "So why did you want to try out here?"

He looks at Arthur's image and temperament does not look like no team wants, go abroad to play C2 league so want to be so difficult? He also thinks highly of Arthur because he wears the Arsenal jersey number 10, which is the core number.

Arthur replied loudly in fluent Italian: "Because my favorite player is Batistuta and want to be a super striker like him. I also love the Fiorentina team and even though the team is now relegated to C2, I want to help this team get back to Serie A."

Emily Blunt was stunned. She knew that Arthur had taken the time to learn Italian, and she didn't expect him to speak it so fluently. Was this something that could be achieved with a few months of study? He was too good.

Arthur didn't find it that difficult, and was able to communicate without difficulty in three months of study. He suspected that he could learn Spanish with ease as well, and the similarity to Italian was striking.

Upon arriving in Florence, the daily cold-faced, exasperated Virchowald froze and laughed again. "You speak Italian well, but you've only just arrived and you're crotchety, aren't you afraid you'll be laughed at if you can't do it?"

"I'm not here to hang around, I'm here to fight. Helping the team get back to Serie A is something I have to do, and I want my teammates to fight together, not laugh at how unrealistic my goals are. I'd be pissed off if I was teammates with people who had no fight in them." Arthur replied loudly.

He did it on purpose, with the team's two most important guys in front of him at the moment.

On the sidelines, captain Angelo Di Livio couldn't help but give Arthur a round of applause. "Well said, we are aiming to get back into Serie A!"

Di Livio of the national team stayed with the team to play C2 in order to help Fiorentina return to Serie A before he retired. He had a verbal agreement with the team manager that Fiorentina would give him a larger compensation contract as soon as the team was back in Serie A.

Di Livio is the one who wants the team to return to Serie A quickly the most, moving up a level every year is too slow. He has a very good impression of Arthur and senses that Arthur's ambition is not just talking the talk.

Di Livio was known for his fighting spirit back in the day, earning him the nickname "The Little Warrior" during his time at Juventus. He liked his teammates who had a lot of energy and could make a difference even if they were not very good.

Virchowald laughed, "Boy, you're cocky, warm up, let me see how good you are."

At this point, Virchowald was already planning to suggest the team manager to sign Arthur, even if he didn't perform that well for a while. Because he felt that Arthur and himself are the same kind of person, once upon a time, he was also this young and foolish, give me a break.

Viljoward despises softballs, if a player is afraid to even talk big, how hard can he play on the field?

Arthur ran to the sidelines to run and warm up, and several of the players who had already signed stopped training to watch Arthur test. There were also dozens of local fans on the sidelines of the training ground who became witnesses to the test. ...

"Any new guys want to try out? Nice body."

"This kid is from the Arsenal youth academy. Just now he said he's going to help Fiorentina get back into Serie A. How dare he, that's what I heard anyway."

"I love his hair, it's an awesome haircut." Nineteen-year-old Nicolo Guzzo, with his messy curls, elbowed Marco Biagianti, who was younger than himself next to him.

They were both second team players for Fiorentina last season and have been friends for a long time.

Marko, with his center-parted hair and boyish face, sighed, "Only great hair? Didn't you notice his face? Is that a human face? It's like a moving luminary, playing soccer with him, no female fans will pay attention to us anymore."

Fans on the sidelines were also talking, with female fans wanting Arthur to stay just by looking at his face, thinking he would be the face of the team.

After warming up Arthur just did a simple sprint running test and left everyone stunned. Wearing the Arsenal home jersey, he ran like a red lightning bolt. And he's got some cool moves and possesses a pair of long legs.

"Terrific explosive power! It's practically comparable to Adriano." DiLivio's eyes widened and he clenched his fists.

Viljovod got excited too, Arthur has to stay based on physicality alone. It doesn't matter that he's technically almost there, he's only 18 and can practise and make an impact with his kicking style without the ball.

In January, Fiorentina brought Adriano on loan from Inter Milan. The Brazilian striker, who is not well known and had no chance to play at Inter, physically amazed everyone at Fiorentina.

Now that there's a free agent younger than Ade, with about the same physical attributes, who wants to join the team, how can Virchowald not be happy? This is picking up a treasure.

Arthur's image could also be compared to another Fiorentina striker, Nuno Gomes, or even better. With Gomes back in Portugal and signed for Benfica, having Arthur as his replacement is sure to catch the eye of the fans.

Arthur showed some more fundamentals, in a moderate way. This was already a good result, before Steve helped with the special training, his fundamentals were a mess and he looked like a pure amateur.

Viljovod said to Di Livio, "Go and take care of the crosses, let the others fight him in the box and try his heading ability."
