Benji POV
Once the Garnets left the private dining room, Hunter started whining.
“No killing?” he asked with a frown.
“Is killing humans really that important to you?” Denton asked with a sigh.
Hunter hopped to his feet. “It’s boring if you don’t.”
“Oh my god,” Olive said as she pushed back from the table. “Is no one concerned that we have a serial killer in the family?”
“I’ve been saying that for decades,” Benji quipped as he reviewed his notes from the meeting. A part of him hoped that the Garnets caught Hunter killing a human. While he was nowhere near as sloppy as he had been when he was younger, Hunter’s activities often caused problems for the family. Not having to worry about Hunter would make life easier.
