Denton had once again laid down the law after learning about some of his children’s behavior. 


Benji hadn’t been surprised to hear Hunter deny he was encouraging other vampires to kill humans. Throughout their lives, Hunter would only admit to something if he was caught in the act. 


Kelly and Irving, at least, confessed when they were called out and showed remorse. They promised to not do it again, but Benji felt they were full of it. Kelly got bored easily, so he doubted she could stick to only hunting at Blue Bloods. 


Ash and Chloe followed the rules easily, so there was no reason to worry about them.  And of course, Olive and Benji himself had no problem doing what their father asked. Neither of them hunted – they only drank from blood bags. 


The best thing that came out of Denton reprimanding them was that Hunter was ignoring Benji for tattling. It made Benji’s life less stressful not have to hear Hunter complain all night long.
