Chapter 135: Bo City

Cao Guang went to his hometown after that incident with the Hunter was over. He hadn't been here in almost four years.

The city of Bo hadn't changed much during this period, it remained a small city with it's own problems on the foothills of Nanshan mountain range.

Overall it was peaceful and calm, Cao Guang had made some arrangement with Tian Lan Middle school and was going to speak with their freshman, in the eyes of Principal Zhu he was an alumnus giving back.

Cao Guang made his way to Xue Musheng's classroom again after six or so years, it hadn't changed much.

"Now students a former student of mine has come to visit and teach in the school for a few days. He is a peak Intermediate mage and has already qualified for the national team.

He will be representing our country in Paris in a year's time, he studied under me briefly and therefore wants to meet my class first"

Xue Musheng said every word with obvious pride as being the teacher of a National team member was nothing to scoff at.

Cao Guang stood next to Xue Musheng's and seemed no different from an ordinary person to the students.

" Now you will be learning with Cao Guang for the rest of the day and I hope you can learn and apply something from him.

(A/n: I want to make a quick change in the narration going forward so I have made a mistake from the start intentionally and now I am correcting it, and still this is different from the canon in either case as well.

From now on spiritual energy is the energy used for cultivation and mana is the energy required to release magic. This won't make much of a difference now as I followed the principle, just in an another way.

Spiritual energy is what makes Break throughs possible and won't change what's happened in the last 100 chapters. The only change is that at the time of releasing a spell spiritual energy is changed to mana and then released.

Every Stardust holds different spiritual energy and makes different mana as a result)

Cao Guang looked at the students that looked at him like a unicorn and said " Is there anything you want to ask me before we begin?"

" Senior how old are you?"

" 21 still ten months away from 22"

Even Mo Fan and the haughty Mu Bai perked their ears when they heard that. They had yet to awaken and would only get a chance to awaken if they made it to Tian Lan High school as they couldn't afford to awaken individually.

Cao Guang answered some of their simple questions like 'when can we cast our spells and how hard is it to break through to the intermediate level'.

Cao Guang drew a deep breath before giving these students some hope and preparing them for the real.

" Magic as we know had eighteen elements, some people might say Fire and Lightning are the best elements for the basic level, they aren't wrong"

Cao Guang watched as Mo Fan's face remained neutral and so many others in the room drooped.

" But they aren't completely correct either, in particular because the Fire and Lightning element resources are particularly expensive, of course their offensive spells mean they could kill demon beasts and make a living but there are other factors involved.

A single Minion often requires four or five mages to work together to defeat and I am not talking about just Fire and Lightning mages, every element has a place. If you think your element is weak you are wrong it's you who are weak but the thing is you have a chance to improve.

For example the Light element, it's basic spell has no use than to brighten an area but it's intermediate spell can guard it's caster or someone they need adeptly.

It's advanced spell has both offensive and defensive capabilities and as for its Super spell it is the strongest single target spell among all the elements. Not bad for the weakest element is it. Above all it's resources are rather cheap and don't need much money but they are a bit rare in our country.

But it's not as rare as Lightning element."

Cao Guang stopped talking as the students looked at him with incredulous eyes. Even Xue Musheng was a bit suprised hearing about the Light Super spell as he was also a Light intermediate mage and only knew about the Advanced spells.
