A Glass of Drink

A possession at someone's disposal.

It was what Sienna felt. As much as she didn't like it, she didn't say a word about it and kept a straight face.

"You shouldn't leave Davi unguarded in a room full of people who might be a threat to his safety."

"My father is with him. I'm sure you have seen that he is quite fond of Davi, and I am assured that he won't let any harm befall his grandson."

Sienna wanted to ask what Lemiel was doing upstairs watching him and Caius, but she stopped herself. He might have passed by and seen them. He got curious about what was going on, so he listened. Or perhaps he thought she was trying to win one of his brothers? She couldn't quite tell what was running through the vampire's twisted mind.

"Head back inside and stop lurking in the shadows like a kitten," Lemiel said before walking past her.

Sienna stayed standing in her spot for a few moments, watching Lemiel walk away.
