Two days later, after the witch was killed, Sienna visited Dianne in the town library to thank her. She felt bad about telling Dianne that her aunt was killed but was relieved that Dianne didn't feel that bad about it because she believed that it was only right for her aunt to be subdued by the authorities for her evil deeds.
"I have thought about it," Lemiel said later that night while Sienna was preparing his bath. He was leaning against the bathroom's door frame, looking at Sienna. "Since you have done a good job in the witch case, I will reward you. What do you want? I have asked you this before, but you didn't answer me."
Sienna was putting scented oil in the water as she answered, "You said you can give me anything."
"Yes, that is correct. But only if it is reasonable."
"So it's not anything I want. It's anything that you approve of."
