The dinner conversation continued and Harold's upcoming wedding was brought up. Criselle could no longer feel energy in her body. She remained silent for the rest of the dinner, occasionally glaring at the man across from her.
If it were not for Theron, Harold wouldn't have given his glass of wine to him and she could have convinced Harold to take even just a sip. But things went downhill, and she had no choice but to waste the potion, otherwise, Theron would have drank it.
Criselle remembered what the witch had told her and she became even more annoyed. The witch had said that a person could only use a love potion once because the ingredients and the creation process had rules. So she couldn't just buy another love potion and it meant she would never have a chance to win Harold's heart!
After dinner, the children were instructed to go to their rooms while the men shared some whiskey in the garden.
