Sienna walked out of the Von Amstel mansion and headed to the nearest local carriage stop.
She wore a worn-out coat over her dress, as the weather was a little colder than usual due to the rain. Although the rain had stopped since she left the mansion, the clouds remained dark and heavy, threatening to pour again at any moment.
"We have arrived at the town market!" the coachman announced.
Sienna paid the fare and climbed out of the carriage.
She was thankful that she had brought an umbrella this time, as the weather hadn't improved since she left the duke's mansion. The sky was gloomy and grey clouds loomed over the horizon, ready to unleash more rain.
Holding the piece of paper with the list of spices she needed to buy, Sienna quickly found the shop Mrs. Cliffe had told her about in the middle of the town market.
