Midweek, while working on an assignment in his room, Anurak received a call from Glory. She has not been in town for a long time. Even though she heard of everything that happened to Anurak these past few weeks, this was the first time she would be calling to check on him. 


Having lost the deal she got for him and discovering that the news about his cross-dressing career had actually leaked from her side, Anurak wasn't really feeling great about her. That was until she told him she had a great surprise for him. 


"I have spoken to Vandross on your behalf. Not only will you get back your contract, but it will no longer be the one-year contract, but the five-year one." Glory excitedly exclaimed on the phone, expecting Anurak to be overwhelmed with joy and gratitude. But to her surprise, Anurak did express shock, but promptly got over it. 


"Don't you want the job again?" Glory asked after a pause.
