At the Dæd-Câds table, King was so excited. He had absolutely nothing to say to Anurak, so he kept filling his plate with food. He didn't attend school for the rest of the week after what happened at his house. The next week when he did, he kept his distance because he knew that Anurak was somewhat wary of him. The only reason he didn't panic was because the boy was still eating the food he was sending over without any complaints.
Therefore, it has been more than a week since he was physically close to him. Now that they were seated together, he was ecstatic. King was practically like a kid having a sugar rush. Anurak had to speak up that he was filled before King stopped.
Then when it was time to give gifts, he wanted Anurak to go up with him as he dropped the family's gift, but he vehemently refused.
