The moment Anurak went into a panic attack, King just sniggered, scooped him off the ground, and carried him out of the room. He knew this would happen, that was why he had his arms wrapped around the boy.

Payu helped him to open the door to an adjacent room where he sat the boy on a large couch and started talking him through the whole thing.

It took a longer time to get the boy out of it, but King had all the time in the world. Anurak could get into as many panic attacks as he liked, but King wasn't ruffled.

Once Anurak calmed down, King brought out his Vicks-like, unlabeled inhaler and gave it to him.

“Sniff it. It will help you calm down.”

Obediently and still in tears, Anurak collected the inhaler and placed it under his nose. It was that scent that he liked. He tried to focus on it as that was better than thinking about what he was about to do.
