Chapter 60

Like Naruto knew Kurama like the back of his hand, he immediately came here three days later. He would have gotten here on the first day, however, he needed to send someone to the station as things had gotten chaotic.

"I am so damn proud of you, and yet I'm baffled by how you come up with this idea," Kurama pushes the wheelchair on the streets of Toki Toki City and ignores people who wave at them. "I mean, you? Coming up with this idea?"

"Why not? Is it bad?"

"Of course not, I am glad you are being selfish and thinking about yourself, other than thinking of someone else."

Naruto chuckled. "Ready to handle chaotic me?"

"No matter what, you still be yourself, dumbass" Kurama ruffles his hair. "Anyway, what do you wanna eat?"

"Not sure, I mean, I wasn't told I can't eat anything as long as it doesn't make my stomach sick."

"Got it, no junk food. All right, I know what to feed you."

"Great! Better hurry up, we need to meet others."

"So… Just you, I, and Daishinkan?"

"Not exactly, Dad and Mom too. I thought it's better to give a heads up. Might add Sasuke and Sakura…" Naruto trails off, then looks stupid. "Ah fuck it, Everyone"

Kurama snorted. "Sure, I understand."

Later, after they had snacks at the cafe, Kurama used a shadow clone. He picked up Naruto, holding him in his arms, and another shadow clone grabbed the wheelchair. They head towards the Time nest.

Landing outside the gate, Clone Kurama put the wheelchair down and disappeared in smoke. Kurama put Naruto back in the wheelchair and pushed it. They nod at the guards who give friendly greetings as they walk past the gate to the time nest.

Naruto smiles as the wind hits his face and looks around. Same old time nest.

"Naruto! Kurama!" Chorona shouted in surprise and delight to see them. She was standing in the middle, Trunks on her side holding a time scroll. Besides him were Madara, Hashirama, and Sasuke. "What brings you two here? How are you feeling, Naruto?"

Naruto wave. "Hey there! Are you guys going out on a mission?"

"It's just an error, nothing serious," Trunks said. "You look better… And the burnt mark is gone too."

"Yeah, it's getting well now."

"Dobe, you should be resting."

Naruto rolled his eyes. "I am doing well, Sasuke. Thank you for asking."

Hashirama chuckles.

Madara frowns at Kurama, then looks at the blonde. "What brings you here? Doesn't look like you were here for the fresh air?"

Naruto paused. "Actually… You guys should hear this, too."

"What's wrong?" Hashirama tilted his head.

Naruto tells them the idea he has and what he plans to do. Of course, they were shocked by his decision, but none looked negative about it. If anything, they looked all right.

"Hn, As long as you are happy"

"That's a great idea, Naruto!"

"Yeah! What help do you need?"

"Dobe, you know you have our support."

Naruto laughs. "You know I wasn't worried about it, I know dad and mom would be delighted… And well… Yeah…"

Madara crossed his arms against his chest. "Your idea isn't bad, Uzumaki… You should go for it. If anyone deserves this… It's you."

"I guess? Anyway, you guys go ahead… Shouldn't hold you guys back."

"Nonsense! You aren't!"

Hashirama gets closer to him, he pats his head. "When I return. Let's have a party! It's on me!"

Naruto snorted. "No gambling"

Hashirama laughs. "Sure!"

Madara shook his head. "He grumbles all right."

"All right, let's get going. The sooner we are finished, the faster we can return," Sasuke said, looking at Trunks. "Teleport us."

"Right! See you later, Naruto!"

"See you! Good luck!"

Trunks used the time scroll to teleport himself, Sasuke, Madara, and Hashirama off to the timeline.

"I suppose you already handle the preparation?" Chronoa asked.

"Sensei said he gets them ready… I am gonna spend some time with everyone before we start our plan."

"What is your plan now?"

Naruto smiled. "Wanna eat Ramen?"

Chronoa and Kurama chuckle. Ah, Ramen lover.

Later, after eating Ramen, which Chronoa ordered, they ate together, spoke a bit, and left. Kurama did the same thing as before, summoning the clone, holding Naruto, and holding the wheelchair. They returned home, where Kushina was waiting for them.

"Welcome home! It's good to see you, old fox!"

"Good to see you too, Red brat!"

Naruto's sweat drops seeing how his mom and Kurama don't get along, it's not like they hate each other, it's just that they had a conversation about something that caused a fire between them. Dad told him it isn't a serious battle, just them being silly.

"So, Naruto," Kushina looks at her son. "We were told you wanted to tell us something."

Naruto blinked. "Who told you?"

"Chronoa did."

"Huh!? Wait… Is that why you are home early?"

Kushina nods. "Yeah, your dad is already inside, Kakashi, Sakura, Mito obaa san, and Tusnade are here too."

Naruto blinked again. "Holy… She brought every person I wanted to tell…. Jiraiya isn't here?"

"He's gonna be late… but be here on time"

"Got it, Kurama, let's go inside."

"Right"

Kurama pushed the wheelchair inside. It wasn't difficult as there was a slider for a wheelchair. They entered the living room, where others were.

"Naruto!" Minato smiles while checking him out. "You good? Hungry?"

Naruto chuckled. "I'm fine, Dad. Sorry you guys had to leave your work…"

"Nonsense, we had no work to do," Tusnade tells him.

"Hey Naruto,"

"Hey Kakashi sensei! How's Iruka?"

"He couldn't make it here. Had some classes he had to attend. Said he would join us at dinner."

"No problem… I think he would have fainted anyway."

Sakura grinned. "Any mischief?"

Naruto grins back. "Yes!"

Mito chuckles. "Now, now, don't keep it. Tell us, Naruto boyo."

Naruto exhales. "Okay…" He looks to the side where his mother stands and gestures to her to take a seat. Kushina walks over to the couch and sits beside Kakashi. "So… Uhm… I think a lot about this. And don't think I didn't notice how you guys always guard outside my house." He pointedly looked at Kakashi and Sakura, who tried to look innocent. "Anyway, I call Daishinkan after thinking… He approves of my decision… Kurama is already aboard… Then, now, when we went to Time Nest to speak with Chronoa… we met Sasuke, Madara, Trunks, and Hashirama. They were going on a mission-"

"Hashirama went on a mission!?" Mito look pissed.

"Yeah, he did... Did something happen, Granny?"

"I grounded him yesterday, He did a gumble!"

Everyone held back their laughter, hearing this, Naruto understood why Hashirama looked eager to leave. "Ah… Well, I met him and others. Talk with Chronoa and come here. So, what am I planning to do? Simple, Sensei is currently gathering Super Dragon balls, and he made a wish to turn me into a baby." Then he adds. "With memories sealed off. When I am capable of… handling that memory… It is unsealed by none other than Sensei and Kurama here."

Naruto looks at everyone's reaction. Yup, all of them are shocked.

"So… you're a small baby?" Sakura spoke. "Like… newborn with memory sealed"

Kakashi, for once, wasn't reading his pervy book, and his eyes were wide. "B-Baby…"

Minato and Kushina were gaping like fish and yet looked ready to brawl out into tears.

"That… is a big decision," Tusnade says slowly. "You sure..? I mean, it's not bad! This… this is big, Naruto."

Naruto nods. "I know, but I wanna be… myself…"

"Then you should," Tusnade smiled.

Sakura grins wider. "That means I can get to spoil you!"

"...I am gonna need tons of training if I ever were to babysit you," Kakashi mutters with humor and fondness.

Naruto laughs at Kakashi, knowing he's not wrong. Old man Hokage used to tell him how Kakashi almost dropped from the tree outside his apartment and rushed to stop Naruto from doing anything stupid.

"You… You doing this…?" Kushina asked, her voice trembling in hope.

Naruto smiled. "Yeah…" Then he became nervous. "I mean if you-"

"WE WANT YOU!" Minato and Kushina shout, startling everyone. They get up from their seats and get to his side. "Babe, sweetie, we want you as our baby.. our small little bean… " Kushina choked back her sob.

"You have no idea… " Minato holds his hand. "We love you, son. And we want to hold you in our arms… spoil you, do every parent and son bond… You… You don't know how much we wanted to… " His eyes filled with tears. "Will you allow us…?"

"Even before you were born… All the time… I imagine what you'd be like… What would you like… Will I be a better mom? Would you like us? I… I wanted to protect my baby…" Kushina sobbed. "Naruto… sweetie…"

Tears slide down his cheeks, and Naruto nods. "Yeah… I wanna be a kid again… I wanna have memories with you… I wanna have mom and your hugs… I wanna go to the academy with you two… I wanna return home to see you both… eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner.. when I get sick… I want you to take care of me… I wanna… I wanna have a childhood… that was taken from me… I want you two…."

Everyone stood up and left wanting to give the family their moment, Sakura sobbed, Kakashi wiped his tears, Kurama sniffed, Tusnade and Mito smiled with tears as they left the room.

Two days later, Daishinkan came to the Namikaze household. This time, he appeared outside their house and knocked on the door. Minato was the one who opened the door and smiled upon seeing Daishinkan. "Oh! Hello there, Daishinkan"

Daishinkan smiles back. "Minato"

"Oh hey, Sensei!"

Minato steps aside for Daishinkan to walk past him and sees Naruto in a wheelchair, he's wearing an orange hoodie and pants. "I didn't know you were coming today."

"I have gathered the Super Dragon balls," Daishinkan tells him. "Should I begin, or do you need time?"

Naruto's eyes widen slightly, and he grins. "Really?! You got them all? I thought it would have taken some time?"

"I may have asked Whis and Vados to look for them. It wasn't hard."

"Got it, of course you can. I already said my goodbyes and prepared things in case something goes wrong."

Daishinkan nods. "All right," He looked over his shoulder. "Minato, I will be taking him with me. I need to heal some of… damage. I will bring your son back safely."

"I understand… I let the others know, we're all waiting."

"Thank you, Naruto, were you going somewhere?"

Naruto shook his head. "Just a walk. We can leave now, sensei."

"Understood, see you in a moment, Minato."

"You too, Daishinkan"

Naruto raises an eyebrow at how familiar the two of them are with each other, First name no less.

Daishinkan rests his hand on Naruto's shoulder and teleports out of there, and appears outside the palace of Grand Zeno. "Can I ask how you and Dad are close?"

"We found something in common." Daishinkan removes his hand from his shoulder. "Aw, are you scared that I'll fly away with your daddy?"

Naruto snorted. "That was a horrible comedy, Sensei."

"Oh well, I'll try. As for being familiar with your dad, he and I had a conversation… He is quite a pleasant man... Should I stay away from him?"

"The heck? That's not what I meant! I was curious how you and Dad were on a first-name basis with each other… "

"Ah, I understand. Anyway, let's get you healed up." He pushes his wheelchair in a different direction. "After the ritual is finished, I shall use the dragon balls and turn you into a baby."

"Speaking of ritual… Why are we doing it outside?"

"Because I want to"

"Geez…"

Soon, they reached their destination. Naruto sweats drop at the ritual on the ground, candles, a ritual circle, and a bowl of powder. "Are you summoning a demon?"

Daishinkan snorted. "No, I am not."

"It looks like it, tho. Like you are summoning Annabelle or shit…"

"Who's Annabelle?"

"Ask Sakura, she will tell you all about it. She is a huge fan of horror…"

"I take notes."

Daishinkan helps Naruto stand up from the wheelchair and hold him close, then helps him lie in the middle of the circle. Naruto is surprised to find the odd calm presence when he lies down and looks at him. "Uhh… Why do I feel so comfortable?"

"That would be the charm at work. Anyway, you will fall asleep. And when you wake up. You will be in your de-aged body as a baby. Any last words you want to say?"

"Nah, I already had my will written. My lawyers will call you to hand over some of my property."

"Your unwashed underwear?"

"Bingo"

Daishinkan flicked his forehead, getting a yelp from him. "Shameless, blonde." Then he pats his head. "Once you become a child… I will collect enough embarrassing photos and videos…."

Naruto grinned. "Aww, I am so scared."

Daishinkan had a serious look. "You should be. I am very evil."

Naruto laughs.

Daishinkan chuckle. "See you soon, Naruto."

"Y-Yeah, See you… And sensei…." Then he paused. "Daishinkan… Thanks for everything. You better be there in my childhood… Don't leave me alone. I want everyone there for me."

"Didn't you hear? I will collect pretty embarrassing photos of your childhood and video records… When your memory unlocks, I shall show them to you."

"You are evil… See you later, sensei."

"See you later, little fox."

Daishinkan waves his hand over Naruto's face, who instantly knocks out and falls asleep. Daishinkan stares at the peaceful expression of his student. He leans down and presses a kiss to his forehead. "You… no matter what, you are my favorite." With that said, he stood up. "All right, let's get this started…"

He begins.

8 Hours later, at Namikaze house, Minato, Kushina, Kakashi, Sasuke, Sakura, Tusnade, Jiraiya, Iruka, Hashirama, and Mito were waiting for Daishinkan to return with Naruto.

All look anxious, excited, pacing in the room, and feeling sick from being so happy.

"Is there a way to contact him?" Kushina spoke, leaning against the wall, and she was chewing on her fingernail.

"N-No, I am sure he will be coming soon… After all, you know, he said it will be time, Kushina," Minato tells her as he's pacing around the room. "Gods… It's taking so long!"

Mito is amused, how personality swapped, Minato is the one who's more jumpy and anxious, trying not to snap at anyone, while Kushina is doing breathing exercises and calm. It should be Kushina in Minato's place.

Jiraiya rubs his forehead. "Calm down, Minato-"

That's when someone appeared in the room, startling everyone. They stood up with their weapons out and paused when they saw who it was.

Daishinkan tilted his head. "Is something wrong?"

Everyone looked sheepish and lowered their weapons. "Sorry, sorry, old habits," Kakashi chuckles.

Minato and Kushina's eyes were on the bundle that Daishinkan was holding, the couple got closer to him. Their eyes fill up with tears seeing their baby Naruto, the same baby they saw all those years ago.

The very same baby they left behind all those years ago, alone in the world.

Daishinkan holds the baby for the couple. "Here he is. I apologized for being late, I needed to handle some other things before I brought him here." Truth be told, when he saw baby Naruto, he couldn't help but spoil him a little and play. Besides, both Grand Zenos wanted to see Naruto before he left.

The kings were not offended that Naruto didn't meet them before becoming a baby. Naruto sent a dozen gifts to them some days ago, which made the kings happy, and even had a conversation through the communication.

Both Kings were happy for the blonde and blessed him.

Kushina takes Naruto from him, Minato standing beside her, staring at the sleepy baby. "Hello, Naruto…" He choked back a sob.

"His memories are sealed," Daishinkan tells them, "He will unlock them once he reaches… A certain age... Sadly… I couldn't do anything about… his immortality."

"This is good enough… Naruto already told us about his immortality and the responsibility he has to carry in the future… I am just so happy we will be a family again… Thank you so much… "Kushina hugs Naruto, and tears slide down her cheek. "Thank you…"

"You're welcome… " Daishinkan bow. "I take my leave, Good day." With that said, he straightens up and leaves.

Just as he left, Everyone stood up and surrounded the couple to take a look at the baby, Sakura squeal seeing how adorable naruto looks, he reminded her of her children and grand children, mito and hashirama smiled wide reminding them of their children, Jiraiya blink away the tears and Tusnade sobs, Both godparents were so relief, this time, they can do their duty well.

Kakashi and Sasuke smile. Oh, brother, duty is gonna be awesome. Kakashi knows by heart how hard it's gonna be taking care of the mischievous baby blonde.

Kurama used the backyard door and entered inside to find everyone in the middle, talking and cooing. He sensed Naruto's chakra, which made him smile widely. He gets closer, everyone sees him move away, letting him get closer.

"Brat… Kurama fondly says, looking at Naruto sleeping. "Sorry, I couldn't come sooner… you know what shits going on down there"

"Language!" Minato and Kushina scold him.

Everyone burst out into laughter. Oh boy, Protective parents. Kurama rolls his eyes. "Oh, shush!"

"Mmnh…"

Everyone froze, their mouths shut, and looked at the baby Naruto who woke up from the noise. They held their breath as he opened his eyes, bright blue eyes looking at his parents.

"I-I… Minato…" Kushina did her best not to squeal hard. "His… eyes were always… this bright?"

"M-Maybe…?"

Naruto let out a tiny smile and waved his tiny hands up in the air, his gaze moved away from his parents and looked at the others who cooed at how cute he was.

Kurama gently pressed his finger against his tiny fist. Naruto, seeing the finger, grabbed onto it and looked awed as if he had never seen a finger before.

Kushina kisses her son's forehead. "Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze, this time, we will protect you."

In return, Naruto laughs adorably.
