One day he came in a hurry,
And said, "I've formed the agenda."
"Sorry pal, who's this Amanda?"
Catechized our dear Larry.
"Not Amanda its agenda Larry,"
Corrected our commander Sam.
"Now what's this agenda game?"
Shen kept forward the query.
"It's my… my proposal plan,"
He replied and then he began.
"The perfect spot is the bridge."
He said that with a voice of edge.
"Is this about the lonely pass?
Hey! Look at me, look at my face,"
Officer Sam asked him repeatedly,
While shaking his shoulders vigorously.
He shook his head in acceptance,
And that bridge has a history of violence.
He'd been following her routes,
He'd been observing her moves,
And yes, he skipped a couple of classes.
All of these were done for this damn plan.
There were two bus routes,
Both linked by a lonely flyover.
As per the talks among the boots,
It wasn't the place to meet a lover.
We had a teeny tiny squabble,
But couldn't break the bubble.
So, I had to go on with the plan,
But the others were out of the clan.
"Please you people listen first,
And then you may have your burst,
Once you listen, I'll need your opinion,
Now try to be a responsible civilian."
He shouted at our face,
Then opened a pack of 'Lays'.
After a crunchy bite or two,
He continued to go through.
With heart aflutter, nerves all aglow,
Our neo-Romeo had a plan in tow.
He'd perfected his lines, million times,
And conceived the moment, billion times.
He desired to sweep her off her feet,
With words that were so sweet,
With promises that were so neat.
He prayed, "May she accept my treat."
He'd pick the perfect moment,
And hope that she'd feel his deterrent.
He'd profess his love in words so true,
And pray that she'd move the same way too.
He'd wait for her response,
He'd wait with a bated breath,
And hope that she'd say yes,
He hoped nothing more but a 'yes'.
He craved only that answer,
Because he knew without her, …
He knew without her, he's incomplete.
Oh god why can't I stop my tears?
