It would be the next morning as Yen would be training in the backyard. With the Scar of Fenghuang in her hair, her strengths had been extremely enhanced. However, the Scar of Fenghuang was able to give Yen self-sustenance. Allowing Yen to have an unlimited amount of strength. Although, she used the chance to train again as she was aware of Seven's actions.
As Yen would spin the stick she was using to train with, she could see in the distance, Yuka playing in the fields. Yen would pause her stance form as she looked at Yuka.
Yuka always reminds me of myself when I was young. Yen thought. But she softly smiled.
Yen decided to give herself a break, since she has been training for the past 7 hours straight. She threw the stick up as it turned into dust. After all, Yen liked the forest and didn't want to harm it in any way.
Yen sat down on the grass, looking at the view. She could still see Yuka, happily playing in the fields as it seemed like Raijin and Yuka were playing a little game. Although, it only made Yen smile. As much as Yen liked playing in the fields, she couldn't join in. She had to get back to work. So Yen stood up and walked back to her home.
As she entered, she went straight into her office as she sat down on her office chair. Yen would open her computer as she logged in. Once she did, the computer had revealed a document of Seven's information Yen had gathered so far. Yet, Yen would take out a sticky note as she grabbed a pen and wrote something down before she left it on the side of her desk.
The truth was, Owen wasn't the one who was researching about Seven. It was Yen. She knew that Seven would sneak into Owen's office to gather information about herself. But her and Owen had planned a twist. Yen would continue to do the real research on Seven, meanwhile Owen would pretend to be the person researching about Seven. But it would mean the both would have to lie to Yuka and Raijin in order for the plan to be kept secret. As Yen looked back at the document, she reread. Making sure her observations were correct.
Seven.
Gender is female.
Her age is about 14-16 years old. Possibly could be older.
Abilities?
Seven could possibly have absolute immortality after seeing no signs of the Death Lotus and damage from the Meteorite incident. But Seven should have a resistance that overpowered the two as she recovered from both of them easily.
Seven's stats are assumed out of the charts, but mostly unknown due to the disappearance of Seven's abilities coming in and out every time an enemy is targeting her.
Amaris and Azura were from a different universe, scientists had noted the meteorite came from a different galaxy, and Moriti had come from the Mirror Realm.
As she finished reading, Yen began to add most of her information up. A couple hours had passed, but Yen's realization had gone to a confused expression. Yen had thought Seven was possibly RTO. But because RTO was an extremely small group and disappeared thousands of years ago, Yen couldn't believe it. Her mind was full of doubts, but the information she observed from Seven was the truth.
But all Yen had to focus now was what will happen to Seven when her identity is exposed. So Yen stood up as she left the office. But as Yen left the office, Seven quickly entered her office. Thinking she'll find something.
Seven would sit down as she looked at the computer. Luckily, Yen didn't log off. So Seven saw the entire document, but due to her curiosity, she began reading.
After she finished reading, she felt a bit more relief. But confused at the same time. Most of her thoughts were answered, but she was left with Kotohina. All in her mind now was just the thought of Kotohina and her similar appearance to Seven. So she stood up as she ran out of the house, heading to the Pond of Incandescent.
As Seven made it to the Pond of Incandescent, she saw Kotohina. Standing near the edge of the pond. She didn't expect Kotohina to be there before her. But, it was better than waiting for Kotohina. So, Seven began to approach Kotohina as Seven could already feel the intense aura spreading to her. Yet, as she got a few feet closer, Kotohina looked behind as she looked at Seven.
"I expected you to come back here." She said,
"I wanted answers." Seven replied.
Kotohina would gently brush her fingers against her doll's hair. Except that it looked different this time. The doll had the same long black hair, but heterochromia eyes. It looked like Yen. Which only made Seven a bit worried. But she covered it up to keep herself strong.
"Continue."
"... Who are you?"
"I go by many names… but if I were introducing myself to my look alike, I go by the name Kotohina. The Marionette."
"The Marionette-? Like a puppet?"
"I'm surprised you did your research, Seven."
"Oh, I just kne- wait. But I never introduced myself, did I?"
"It's not a problem to me, Seven. I know everyone after all. I have eyes on everyone."
Seven's expression changed from fear to a spark of anger.
I bet she was watching us the entire time…
Kotohina turned around, facing Seven as she knew Seven was slowly getting angrier. But it only made Kotohina feel pleased. It was like Kotohina and Seven could sense each other's emotions. But it was obvious Kotohina was attempting to do something to Seven.
Seven would open her mouth as she was about to speak, only to be interrupted as Kotohina appeared in front of Seven and knocked her away from the Pond of Incandescent. Seven would appear back, and soon they both went into battle. Seven and Kotohina's battle would begin to destroy the entire forest as they fought at light speed. But it soon stopped as Seven was kicked to the ground, meanwhile Kotohina had landed safely.
Kotohina wasn't injured, but Seven suddenly had cracks on her face like a damaged doll. The pain of the cracks began to rapidly increase, causing Seven to rapidly lose her strength to fight.
Seven would place her hand on her cheek, but quickly took it off because she could feel a burning sensation whenever she touched it.
"What the…" Seven groaned.
Kotohina would only stare at Seven. But on the inside, Kotohina was pleased. Seeing the defeat in Seven. She wasn't so powerful after all. Even if the Omnipotence was hidden in Seven, she wouldn't be able to prove that she could beat Kotohina.
After all, Kotohina and Seven are the same person. Kotohina was only here for Seven to fully regain her soul back.
Kotohina decided to not waste her chances as she ran towards Seven at godspeed, only for a bright light to appear around the two before it began to spread across the forest. The light was very visible, to the point the city was able to see the bright light. But as the light had disappeared, Kotohina was nowhere to be seen. It was just Seven. Except that there was something wrong. Seven would slowly look at her arms as there were cracks all over her body. But due to the pain, Seven would fall to her knees. As the pain rapidly increased, Seven could see the black dust coming out of the cracks.
Seven's entire body would be in pain until her body shattered as she was just a silhouette. Full of black flowing dust. But soon, the black dust would become a storm. Spreading across the forest like a storm. As minutes passed on, the black dust storm had slowed down, before the sky had shattered like glass and became red.
But then, the storm would disappear. Seven would only appear as a black silhouette with blood red eyes. She was nothing but the nightmare. But she had revealed herself as the Universal's extinction. The Maniacal Oblivion.
Seven would reach her hand out towards the city, only for the planet to shake as the ground would begin to crumble and make a destruction trail towards the city. But as the trail made its way towards the city, Raijin would appear in front of the city as he took out an ofuda and threw it into the sky. The ofuda would glow blue as it created a massive shield around the city, immediately protecting everyone from the destruction trail that could've killed many others.
But soon, Owen and Yen had made their way to Seven. As they saw Seven, their expressions changed to a shock expression.
"We're too late…" Owen grieved.
"Not too late. There's still some time to save her." Yen replied.
Yen would take out the Scar of Fenghuang as she went into her Blaze of Judgment form. But instead of the Scar of Fenghuang being a hairpin, it was transformed into a pair of many weapons Yen was able to use. However, the hairpin would form into a pair of gauntlets so Yen wouldn't harm Seven.
Yen would get into stance, as Owen would follow along. But as Seven noticed the two, she laughed at them. But truly, Seven's Maniacal Oblivion form wouldn't allow Seven to talk. Seven's cries were only heard as laughter.
"I'll distract Seven, meanwhile you can sneak up onto her and knock her out with your telepathy." She said with a spark of guilt and confidence.
"Got it." Owen replied.
Seven would continue to laugh as it echoed across the forest, but it didn't stop Owen or Yen from anything. As it was a good time to strike, Owen would run towards her before throwing a hit at her. Seven would reach her hand out as she attempted to counter Owen's attack, yet she was tricked as Owen had disappeared.
Owen would soon appear behind Seven as he went for another attempt at attacking her. But Seven would disappear, leaving Owen alone. But as he paused, stopping his attack, he could suddenly feel his body being controlled. Soon, he felt a sharp pain in his insides, but not knowing what was causing it, he slightly panicked.
Owen would then feel Seven's presence behind him as he turned around facing Seven. But it would look like Seven had already performed a move as she had already gone into stance, facing away from Owen. But the effects soon came in as blades would suddenly be pulled out of his arms and legs.
What the-!?
Yet, Owen had already lost. He wasn't comparable to Seven's speed. He should've listened to his own pain, but now his arms and legs were pierced by blades Seven had created.
Owen collapsed to the ground as he went unconscious. But, he had already made enough time for Yen to do the rest of the work. As Seven approached Owen, she began to absorb his life force. But she was soon interrupted by Yen. The screams of Seven were heard as some of the black dust was slowly being evaporated. Her dust was being absorbed by Yen's god absorption ability, but Seven had reached out for Yen's hand. Only to push Yen into her own flashback.
Yen appeared in her flashback when she first met Haoyu. It was the same fields and the same appearance they both had when they were kids. It felt like she just traveled back in time to see him again.
Yen attempted to grab Haoyu's hand, but she remembered she was pushed into an illusion. So she pulled herself back.
This is an illusion… Yen thought.
Yen would hold her hands together as she stomped on the ground, causing the illusion to shatter like glass. Yet, it separated revealing the Maniacal Oblivion a few meters away from Yen. Yen wouldn't give up as she ran towards Seven and would summon a chain blade. As she approached Seven, she quickly used the chain blade to break small pieces of the black dust that had turned into solid to attempt to protect themselves. Yet, every hit Seven took, the more pieces that fell.
Soon, Seven was stunned by the damage she had taken. But it won't be long before she stands back up to continue the damage she started. So Yen broke the last piece as she saw a white figure. The shape of Seven, but it looked like her soul. Yen grabbed Seven's shoulder and pulled her out of the broken and shattered pieces of the black dust's shield. Seven awoke from her sleep.
Seven would slowly raise her hand up as the solid black dust no longer became solid. But instead, the black dust would be absorbed by Seven as it recreated Seven's body. As it finished, the maniacal oblivion vanished as Yen returned to the forest. But as they returned, it seemed like nothing had happened. As the Maniacal Oblivion caused destruction, it felt like nothing but a dream.
It was already late, it seemed like it took longer than expected. As Yen looked around her surroundings, Seven wasn't seen. Yen's expression changed, she double checked her surroundings. Thinking she rushed. But Seven was still nowhere to be seen.
"... Seven?"
Yen's voice echoed. But there was no response. She shouts for Seven's name again, but all she gets was the quiet sound of the forest. Yen soon finally accepts that Seven had disappeared. But not dead.
