Witch hunting was the norm in the kingdom of Wralovaria; every commoner and especially aristocrat liked witnessing witches get burned alive.



Magic is not prevalent in the kingdom, and it is regarded as a demonic blessing; therefore, anybody who studies or can cast magic will be imprisoned immediately, and every family member will be labeled a witch and stripped of their status; in the worst-case situation, they will be executed immediately.



Zilla Malheure, Baron Wright's undesired bastard child, was living and imprisoned inside the historic house's cellar. She had been living behind that bar since she could remember; her father's family believed she was an embodiment of a witch.



Every time her father paid her a visit, he always called her a "dirty witch."
