10: Demon Lord
Rimuru POV:
After implementing the demon lord and Hero system it has been about more than 2000 years ,humans manage to summon lesser demons and a few greater demons and three arch demons ,well when I went and created a summoning circle and told them they can be summoned they cheered very enthusiastically ,well I also told them that they can bring back some goods in the human world ,As for the other continent I showed them the original magic circle to create their own summoning circle so they can design it as they like ,well the devil's loved it too .Anyways it was time when guy was summoned and like the typical him killed the summoner and kingdom for ticking on his pride and become a demon lord and he also summoned rain and misery ,as in the past these three travelled together and it has been almost a week ,since I'm bored I thought why not give them visit , deciding that I told Ciel to teleport me to where they are .
no one's POV:
In a jungle near the place the Kingdom of Ingrassia was established there are three people who are travelling to the way of the God forest. As they were resting a portal appeared before them and Rimuru appeared. But other than the two girls who met her in her restaurant, the guy decided to fire a nuclear cannon at her. Rimuru just looked at the attack and blew a little air and the attack disappeared.
"It isn't nice to welcome your queen by attacking first red or now should I call you Guy.." Rimuru said while releasing her aura making Guy and the others immediately knelt down
" forgive me my queen. I attacked you on instinct. I will receive any punishment you see fit" Guy said in fear. For demons Rimuru is their queen and the person they worship the most. So attacking her is like that is a great sin for the demons.
"We are as guilty as we couldn't stop him, my queen. please punish us as well." Misery and Rain both said while apologising.
Rimuru sighs and retracts her aura. She then said softly , " Ok don't worry about it for now. So Guy I take it that you have ascended as a Demon Lord. "
" Yes my queen it is as you say " Guy said, still kneeling on the ground.
" Alright as the one who manages the souls and as the ruler of the underworld I Rimuru Tempest shall give you the name guy crimson as a gift to be the first to accomplish in becoming a demon lord and as the first primordial that was summoned." As soon as Rimuru said those words Guy's aura began to grow.
After his aura stopped growing Rimuru said in a relaxed posture," well my official business here is done. Say Misery Rain i haven't seen you two come to my shop lately. Why don't you give me a visit when you all secured a place to stay. "
Misery and Rain both said enthusiastically " we will definitely visit you Rimuru sama…"
Guy looked at this with a bewildered expression. Since he hardly goes out of his territory he never knew about Rimuru's restaurant. And due to him not being so social no one bothered to inform him about the news either.
" Well, would you mind telling me what you two are talking about " Guy whispered as he asked his two maids.
Rimuru who heard what he said facepalmed as she answered for them ," oh right I forgot about you being ignorant of most of the affairs in the underworld,well you see guy I run a restaurant in the deepest layer of the underworld and these two are my regulars"
" ohhh is that so " Guy said as his interest diminished. He didn't need any food so he would probably not go there anyway. " If you don't mind me asking Rimuru sama why was i able to evolve into a demon lord so easily " As far as he knows power like that never comes easily.
" Hmm you see, Guy becoming a demon lord isn't all that hard for monsters if they have the necessary qualifications. Especially for the primordial demons. It was very easy for you because high human souls are more corrupt than regular humans. Else you would have to go on a hunting spree.
Anyway I have to thank you for helping me with this project of mine. "
"What is this project rimuru sama" Rain asked curiously.
" Well you see rain ,humans have a high population in the material world and most humans have become very corrupted so their souls also become very dirty so we have to use more man power to purify them so I thought of this plan to make my job easier…." so continued Rimuru giving them a full detailed explanation about why the demon lords are needed.
" So in short you make us a filter for souls" Guy said after hearing the full details.
Rimuru agreed to his conclusion "yes and it keeps human in check so it's like hitting two birds in one stone, and also since I had to keep the balance I made it so that a pure soul will become a hero and fight our demon lords "
" So Rimuru sama do we have any restrictions in moving in the cardinal world? " Misery asked suddenly.
" Actually no ,I gave you absolute freedom to demon lords,demons ,monsters and any creature that me and my brother created so we have no problems with you doing your own thing." Rimuru said with a smile.
" oh right before i forget Guy you train your techniques for now. With your recent power boost you only lack the necessary control . well then since it's late i will head back for now see ya later ~" Saying so Rimuru created a portal and went through it.
" Thank you for visiting us Rimuru sama" the trio said to Rimuru who almost left, making her wave at them.
After that they went on their journey and like in the past met with Veldanava and fought him. But this time he fought because he said he was the strongest and guy didn't believe him because to him their ruler Rimuru is the strongest and so unlike last time Guy actually lasted for about a day before being completely tired .After the match Guy became the mediator and after a few months of training with Veldanava he and his subordinates went to the Ice continent where they fought a another true dragon.
The fight lasted for about 10 days. As these days went by, Guy's pride was hit again . Why you ask because unlike in the past Velzard actually trained and matched Guy in magic and even swordsmanship . Well she was taught by her older sister herself so that is to be expected. After the match where Guy narrowly won Rimuru appeared.
" Well, it looks like you guys got your arrogance in check. " She commented as she looked at the two who were breathing heavily on the floor.
" Elder sister, " Velzard said weakly. She was truly exhausted.
" Wait Elder sister " Guy , Misery and even Rain said in shock after they heard her words.
"hmm yes Velzard is older little sister,wait don't tell me the underworld forgot about my race " at her comment Guy and maids all looked away in shame. They all thought she was a demon like them.
" Sigh, well let me introduce myself. My name is Rimuru tempest the void Empress and the 2nd oldest of the true dragon family and the little sister of Veldanava and also the ruler of the underworld " She introduced herself with a helpless sigh.
"Wait, that means Guy just hit our queen's little sister, " Rain suddenly said, making Guy nervous.
Rimuru waved his concerns off by saying "if you are worrying about me punishing you don't bother because I won't.. My siblings are already old enough since they are basically adults. So they can deal with their own problems. Anyways I came here to tell all of you that from now on you all will be living here. Velzard be a dear and create a castle for us will you "
Velzard nodded her head as she started to gather her aura to starts making a castle
" Anyways you can stay in that castle and you can also summon your subordinates by giving sacrifices or make their bodies with magicules ,or you can hunt a corrupt country and massacre a criminal organisation or something. Also Velzard will be living here with you all since this is basically her territory and you can make weak humans stay away from here due to her aura ,and you can also use this as to buy some food or come to my place for some food orders " Rimuru said as she handed a pouch full of coins.
" Thank you for the consideration Rimuru sama" The demons bowed as they accepted the coins.
Rimru came near her sister and whispered " Ahh Velzard you might want to read some good books about love if you want that idiot to realise your feelings for him. And good luck because he is a tough nut to crack. " Velzard blushed at her sister's words. She didn't know how but she fell in love with that red haired demon. Maybe due to the fact he is the first person who she could have a fun battle with.
" Well then I'm off see ya later "saying so Rimuru teleported away leaving a blushing Velzard , Dou demons who had knowing smiles and a clueless Guy who didn't know what that was about.
