Chapter 6

Laura POV.

Immediately I went to the room Sandra said is mine and went straight to the wardrobe and changed to the uniform.

It looks just perfect on me.

It is a black gown with apron at the waist and a hat. I looked just like it a maid and I hate it.

I was about to make my way to the young master room and stopped when I remember I don't even know where it is.I went to the kitchen and saw Mr Israel still cooking.

"U hmm excuse me sir" he turned round and gave me a beautiful smile.

"Yes Laura"

"Do you by any chance know where Jason..sorry the young master room is?"

"Of Course after climbing stairs to your left the last room is the young master room."

"Thanks for that" I made my way to the jerk room.

"U hmm Laura...?"

"Yes.."

"You might wanna hurry up the young master hates lateness"

I plastered a fake smile on.

"OK"

If he hates lateness the he's gonna live with it cause I am not going to be running around because of punctuality.

After up to five minutes I finally arrived in front of a white door. I gave a knock.

"Come in" his baritone voice replied from the other side of the room.

I went in.

Wow!his room is damn beautiful.

It is fully white even the Plaster of Paris celling. The only touch of blue is his window cotton,and the furniture. A 42 inches television lied on the wall.

"You are late" was the first thing he said. He is sitting on a chair with his legs crossed.

I looked at my watch 4:25.

"You called me young master" he gave a devilish chuckle and walked towards me in all glory.

"How can I help you young master?"

Let me guess is this why our project was canceled puppy"

"My name is not puppy"

"I get you can't resist me but stalking me to even be my personal maid is too much."

"Stalking my foot you really think I'll want to stalk a cramp like you" I shook my head.

"Why don't we start by stating grounds rules."

I keep a neutral face.

"First you must always be at my beck and call.

You must always bring me my tea and breakfast before 6am

You must always make sure that my sister is ready for school by 6:30am.

You must take all my orders without complaining.

Any misconduct will be reported to my father and I think you know what that means. Am I understood?"

"Great now get me my lunch and tell my mom I said I will eat in my room.

Tell Israel I want something light."

"Israel" really? this boy lacks respect

"Hurry up am hungry"

I left the room with a loud hiss just what in Zacheous name have I gotten myself into.

I was on my way to the kitchen when Tracey called me from the dining room.

Some other maids were serving the food.

"Ma'am you called"

"Laura can you tell my son to come down for lunch."

"Jaso.. Young master say he will be having his lunch in his room"

"Oh... ok"

I don't know it it is me but she sounded a little bit sad.

I went to the kitchen to get the asshole lunch.

"Mr Israel"

"Laura..."

"The young master requested for something light for lunch"

"Oh okay I will let you know when I'm done"

"OK"

"I went to Jasmine room to get her lunch"

I got the directions from another maid

Knock knock knock

"Come in"

"Laura.!"

"Hey there Jasmine in here oo Sam what you want for lunch"

"Anything Jason is going to have"

"OK then"

"Laura put my food in his room am gonna eat with him"

"OK"

When I went back to the kitchen Mr Israel was already done cooking.

"Am sorry my Israel Jasmine also wants the same as Jason."

"I kinda said that coming so I prepared for two no need to be Sorry"

He flashed me his cute smile and gave me the food on a trolley.

I went straight to Jason's room.

Giving a small knock and hearing a reply.

Jasmine is already in his room laughing about what Jason just said.

"She just made a fool out of herself "

"She embarrassed me"

I cleared my throat to signify my arrival.

I set the food on the dining table in his room.

I left soon after.

I went to the kitchen and saw like for maids with Sandra being the fifth.

Two of them were dolled up like Sandra.

And a girl who looks quite out of place among the group.

"Laura"

"Mr Israel."

"Here is your lunch"

"Thanks"

I sat beside the girl from earlier and started eating my food.

Sandra and the two other maids came up to me and cleared their throats.

"Hey you" Sandra said

I looked around looking for the you and saw not one.

"Me?" I pointed at myself.

"No your shadow" she said with a hiss.

This one should not bring wahala or I will give it to her.

"How can I help you"

"Listen I heard everything that happened at school and how you are looking for Jason's attention.

Newsflash he is mine. So whatever you have for him better kill it"

I first laugh and laugh till my belly hurts. Then I cleared my throat and put on an intimidating look.

"First of you are very stupid.

Look at you probably the oldest among us you are even older than Jason and you are now trying to put up a fight with me

Secondly, I am not and will never try to look for Jason's attention. I mean who falls for an as asshole.

Lastly don't start with wah lala or I'll give you wahalex."

I hissed and continued eating my food.

The light skinned girl beside me chuckled slightly.

"Heys are you mad" Sandra barked.

Nobody replied to her.

"Lily am talking to you"

So that is her name

The Lily turned round and faced her.

"Really... I didn't realize because the last time I checked my name is Lily and not heys"

"Are you talking to me like that"

"No your shadow that is why a new maid is talking to you like that. You never have sense and keep dragging yourself in the mud " she hissed

"Don't go and find job and be looking for attention from someone who I don't even think knows your name."

She his again and continued eating her food.

"See you are lucky I don't have your time if not I'll be beat u ehnn"

"You beat me with what hand. Is it the bleached one"

I chuckled softly .

Sandra's minions dragged her out when they saw the head maid came in.

The head maid didn't even see them she just took something and left.

"Nice one back there..."

"Laura" I completed

"Yeah Laura"

"You too. You don't seem scared of her."

"Sandra.. Don't mind her she only has mouth and no action am sure even Jasmine can beat her "

I laughed.

"I heard you are the new maid to the kids"

"Yeah I am"

"The previous one was one of Sandra's minions. She tried to seduce Jason by sleep naked on his bed. The dude literally kicked her out of the room naked and got her fired on the spot"

"Some title are just shameless"

"Abi... Don't mind my manners am Lily"

"Yeah I got that earlier"

"Am 19 years old"

"Am 15... If you don't mind going asking why are you here working and not in university"

"I go to university I am a partime student"

"Ohh"

Lily and I kept talking about various things till we lost track of time.

"Don't you think the young master will need you to pack his plates."

I ran all the way to his room.

I arranged my scattered outfit before knocking on the door.

"Come in!"

"Where have you been" his voice sounded cold.

"In the kitchen eating"

"Eating and forgetting about your job"

"Dude am sorry"

"Dude... Look here puppy here you are my maid and you have to act like it.

You should even be thankful you are a maid here I mean look at you probably your mother forgets to feed you. Now that I think of it how poor are you"

I turned my head sharply to his face and saw the jerk smiling.

I bit my lips in frustration.

I walked up to him and looked up in confidence just like that day in the cafeteria.

I was only reaching his chest.

He looked down at me obviously oppressing me with his height.

"To hell w you for that statement. That I agree to be your maid or whatever doesn't give you the right to insult me.

And don't you ever bring my mother to any of our discussions talk less of ta to her like that. Moreover you should count yourself lucky for having someone like me as your maid. You don't know anything about me and don't act like you do."

I passed by his side making sure to bump shoulders and Carried the plates out.

"You don't mean it"Lilly said in awe

"I was so filled with mixed emotions when my dad says those shit thats how I became a maid here." She sighed.

We were both in my room. Earlier the head maid had introduced me to the or maids in the house.

We were the young maids the head maid and Mr Israel included and the gate man he gateman.

Some of the other maids also talked with me and Lilly.

Lily and I clicked and we decided to sleep in my room together.

Right now we were talking about how we became maids.

She is because her mom is sick and she has to work to pay her hospital bills.

I feel someone tapping me.

"Babe chill get up or we will be late for our work."

"OK" I got out of bed stretched washed my self and got dressed.

I went to the kitchen and saw other maids already working.

Mr Israel is already cooking.

"Mr Israel good morning"

"Morning ..here for the young master's tea."

"Can you help me make it am quite busy?"

"Sure"

I went to the cabinet Mr Israel had described was for beverages.

I made a mug of tea and put it on a saucer.

I went to his room and knocked come in.

"Young master your tea is here." The dude is already awake and dressed.

"Uh thanks"he took it from the saucer.

He stopped after a sip and gave me a side eye before taking another.

"Who made this" he said dropping it on the table.

"Me"

"Why didn't Israel make it"

"Is there a problem with it"

"Are you this useless can't you make an ordinary tea"

"What Is wrong with it"

"How can a tea be this bitter"

I tasted it and it was good.

"Whatever I have lost my appetite. Tell my mom am out and before I come back get my laundry done"

And he left.

I hissed and took the cup back to the kitchen.

"The young master didn't take the tea"

"Nope he said it tasted bitter"

"I'm sorry I shouldn't have let you made it"

"Its fine.. And he won't be having breakfast at home he has gone out."

The man sighed. I pity him aha.

I went about my other job of taking care and feed Jasmine before going to get his laundry done.

I went inside his walk in closet.

Omo is he selling these clothes. I went about admiring the clothes be finding a heap of clothes on a basket.

Am I to wash all these?

I really so I can slap him across the face.

I did the laundry and ironing till he came back in the evening.

I carried the properly arranged clothes in his basket heading to his room.

I knocked and entered when I heard his reply.

"here are your clothes"

"You are just finishing since morning he took the basket and flung the clothes everywhere.

"Do it again"

"Am sorry come again?"

I asked as if not sure of what he said earlier.

"Do the laundry again"

"You must be mad. I wash clothes and you na flung it up and down and you think I will wash it again you are out of your sense. I heard him hump as I left.

I hissed and went to tuck Jasmine in bed before heading to my room to sleep.

Tomorrow is school I haven't done it assignment.

I quickly started doing it.

Great just great

How is it 4am already I just slept like five minutes ago.

I got up did my morning routine served Jason his breakfast before proceeding to get Jasmine ready.

I bathed her and got her ready for school. By 6:30 both Jasmine and I were ready I already baked my back to leave after they do while carrying Jasmine bag in the car.

I heard the sound of a car beep.

I looked up and saw Jason's mom.

She is in an office suit.

"oh Laura "

"Morning ma"

"Mommy!!" Jasmine screamed as she ran into her mom hand.

"How are you princess"

"Fine mom Laura attends our school"

"Thats nice so why don't you go to school with Laura"

"Yay"

"Jason make sure to drop her at school"

"Why should I do that"

"Because I said so"

He mumbled something under his breath.

"What was that?" His mom asked.

"Nothing"

"Great.. Have a nice day kids"

And she drove out.

" Puppy get in"

"Don't call me that"

He smirked.

Jasmine ran to the car and wore her seatbelt.

So cute.

The ride to school was silent as Jasmine was pressing her tablet and Jason his phone.

I just enjoyed his company.

"We got to our section of the school I made my way to get down when a tiny hand held mine"

"Laura can you see me to my class" I looked at Jason who rolled his eyes and went his own way"

"Sure why not"

I took her little hands in mine as well made our way to her class.

"She was the only one who takes me to my class" Jasmine suddenly said.

"Who.?"

"Emily"

"Who is she"

"Jason's ex girlfriend... This is my class" she said as we stopped in front of a class.

"By then"

"Bye"

I made my way to my class.

Did he really had a girlfriend?

"Senior is your name Laura"

A boy probably in jss1 asked waking me from my trance.

"Yes why are..."

"Take" the boy squeeze a paper in my hand

"Young messed with the wrong one"

I hissed tore the paper and headed to my class.

Another girl came to me gave me a paper and ran away.

I did the thing I did to the one earlier and we to my class.

Another girl ran up to me and gave me another paper.

Apologize now before its too late.

I hissed and went to the corridor that led to my class.

I suddenly felt the world on my feet slip.

I hit my butt hard on the ground .

I stood up and saw my skirt stained in red paint it looks like I got stained with blood.

Shit

I looked at Jason sit he was smirking.

I scooped some of the paint in my hand went to his sit.

"Puppy what are you doing here shouldn't you be trying on a pad or what.

I could get you one if you are too poor to get it yourself."

The class burst into a fit of laughter.

I threw the paint in my hand on his face.

He stood up with rage.

"Do you have a death wish"

I went towards him climbed up a chair and leaned down since I am the taller one.

"You will pay for this"

I got down took my bag and left the class.

I went to the toilet and met Jessica and Cherry with a new pair of uniform.

"Thanks Jessy"

"Anything for you hurry up we have class"

She smiled and left.

We were in cafeteria when Asher and the boys we're saying how Asher and his Cousins slime pranked their aunt after she wanted to seized their phones.

While we girls just laughed.

"You won't believe I learnt how to make slime since then."

The boys had put their Bluetooth speaker on their wardrobe and when their aunt wanted to seize their phone she thought it was their phone as she stretched her hand she pulled a bowl of slime on her head.

Then it clicked.

I could try it out too.

"Hey Ash "

"Yeah"

"Teach me"

"How to make slime"

"What" all of them said at once.

"Jessy you said Jason is in basketball right?"

" yeah"

"That is my sport then"

"You don't mean basketball do you?"

"Yes I do"

The boys burst into a fit of laughter x

"Babe you are short na a"

"So? Watch and learn how its done."

"OK whatever"

"When do we start?"

"What do you want to use slime for"

"To teach so a lesson."
