Betrayed and casted aside by his own family, Greg’s perfectly aligned life morphs into a literal joke. He ends up landing in a wealthy family, and assumes his life is finally back on track, but his life’s status only grew more pathetic, despite him having a wife now. There, he becomes the disgraceful son-in-law everyone despises. Greg gets humiliated on a daily basis by the wealthy people around him.

Greg had lost all hope and was about to give up the ghost after one unfortunate circumstance, when heaven finally danced in his favor and a hand stretched out to him— in his long, lost relative who showed up from the blues and completely turned his life around.

“You’re no longer the pathetic son-in-law, Greg. You’d now be known as Shadows, King of the night and ruler of the world. Everyone would either bow at your feet or be sent six feet under!”

Greg’s time is finally here. Alas, he’s on top of the world, and this time, he’d stop at nothing till every single person who had wronged him, is bowing at his feet.

Alex entered the ballroom to see so many people were already seated and almost all seats were filled.

It looked like they were all afraid of who he was and what he would do if he found them missing.

When the man entered, they all stared at him as he walked to his seat with the hall being noisy.

None of them stood to their feet or greeted him even when he was announced by his assistant.

He walked to his seat, settled down and looked at the faces there who went on to talk while ignoring that he had arrived.

So these men were different from the people he was used to handling. They had an aura which encompassed the room as they were not afraid of who he was or what he did.

"Shall we begin?" he asked but they went on to talk ignoring him as the owner of the office.
