Janet's long term boyfriend dumped her for someone else because she was apparently impotent, rendering Janet heartbroken even more because his wedding was taking place the very next day. Hurt, Janet visited a club, got drunk, only to wake up naked, next to a hot, dark stranger the next morning.

Wanting out of the mess she created by herself isn’t an option for Janet, especially when she realized that Alastor isn’t human like she thought. Instead, he was the devil himself– literally.

Casted aside and banished from hell, Alastor lived thousands of years searching for a way to return home and take his rightful place on the throne, to no avail. He figured Janet was another dumb, brainless human and couldn’t wait to be rid of her, but that was until he realized that she was the key he had been searching for, for centuries.
Hence why he couldn’t ever, ever let her go. Since the moment she asked him to get married to her, she had unknowingly given herself to him, because she had no idea that once you make a deal with a devil, there’s no backing out from it.

"What are you Alastor?" she asked one more time not giving up on him. "Tell me now."

"Can we have this conversation at home?" he sighed. "I'll tell you everything you need to know."

She nodded. "But he's coming with us."

She walked away from him to stand directly under the broken ice.

"How do we get out of…" she was about to ask when he grabbed her waist and jumped through the ice. He summoned a dragon which appeared as a butterfly before taking its full shape as they both landed on its back.

"Let's get out of here," the man said as the dragon flew out of the cave. The demon flew behind them with Janet looking around her in shock.

"We're flying!" She yelled. "We are really flying! How?!"

"It's complicated but it's called summoning," he smiled. "I'll tell you everything you need to know when we get home."
