"Tell me about it," sighed Jake. "I've destroyed my relationship with everyone. You're right. I don't deserve anything good. Maybe I need to be on my own for now. I'm going to prison anyway."
"I can do something about that," the man said, getting Jake to look up with a smile.
"Really?"
"I'll try to look through my contacts and see if I can do anything for you."
"Thank you so much!"
The butler nodded before picking up his phone to call some people.
Within minutes, he dropped his phone to look at Jake.
"I'm sure this one would be better than you being in prison for a long time."
Jake didn't know what it meant but when the next day arrived and no cop showed up at his door, he was thankful for whatever the butler had done for him.
His phone rang as he picked it up to see that it was from his father.
