Alastor found the house more lonely than before. It used to be filled with life when she was around but now it was a ghost town.

All he did to distract himself was focus on getting to work and back without thinking of her absence.

He knew she was safe with that demon around her. He hated to know the demon would do a better job protecting her than he did. 

Why he had lost his cool that night was beyond him and he beat himself on a regular basis because of that.

A few days after she had gone, he still had more cases coming up against him from Jake.

The man had decided to bring up his all and accuse Alastor of having no history and this had garnered the interest of the entire country as nothing could be found on his past.

He had even had his company searched as they wanted to get to the bottom of his history and everything about him.
