He could see Ellen Young playing with Blackie in the house, finally engaging in some behaviors that fit her age.
It wasn't the usual bland expression she displayed, as if even the sky falling down wouldn't provoke the slightest emotion from her.
"Why did I come back? Do you really need me for your work, Dad?"
He smirked slightly, "I've already told you I'm very busy over here."
"Busy?"
Taylor Smith raised his voice a bit, "What could possibly be keeping you so busy over there? I could send someone randomly and they'd be more attentive than you. You were just fooling me with what you said before. Tell me the truth, are you staying there because of Ellen Young?"
Ruffy Smith's eyes dimmed a bit, "Yes."
Now he admitted it without any hesitation.
Taylor Smith wasn't surprised to hear this answer, "I knew it!"
