Amanda Jenkins stood up, walked over to the desk, and picked up the cell phone lying there.
Seeing it was Jasper Bollock calling, she hesitated for a moment before answering the call.
"Amanda, are you busy?"
Jasper Bollock's voice always carried a certain military authority, firm yet gentle, which was quite comforting to hear.
"No," Amanda replied.
Many things had already been taken care of by Shelly Berg, and she currently couldn't immerse herself in work.
"I need to ask you for a favor."
"Okay, what is it?"
"You agreed so quickly," Jasper Bollock said incredulously, "Aren't you going to ask what it is first?"
"I believe Colonel Bollock wouldn't ask me for a favor that goes against my conscience, so there's nothing to consider."
As such an upright person, the favor Jasper was asking for definitely couldn't be anything wrong.
Moreover, he had once risked his life to save her.
Therefore, Amanda Jenkins had no reason to refuse any help Jasper Bollock needed.
