"The meaning of being human?" Paula Crawford scoffed, "Is that taught by the Major General named Jasper Bollock?"

"He didn't teach me. I realized it myself."

Jasper Bollock didn't even wish to talk to her any more than necessary, so how could he have taught her any life lessons?

But even though he said nothing, she understood, understood his principles of being human and knew what type of woman he liked.

She would try her best to become a woman he would like.

"Do you love him very much?" Paula asked, her tone laced with a hint of mockery.

"Yes." Evelyn Crawford looked at Paula with determination in her eyes, "I do love him very much."

Paula let out a few laughs and gestured to the bodyguard.

Two bodyguards dragged Martina Autumn out, who cried and screamed all the way until the door was shut, and her pleas for mercy were still faintly audible.

In the basement, only Paula Crawford and Evelyn Crawford remained.
