Ethan Jenkins raised his hand and waved it in front of Evelyn Crawford, "Stop looking at me, talk about your own problems."
Her face darkened, and she deflated like a punctured ball, "What is there to talk about my problems? You probably know them all. Right now, grandmother is searching everywhere for me."
Ethan asked, "What do you plan to do next?"
"Jasper Bollock's dad is back, that old man has such a fearsome temper, I can't stay at the Bollock's anymore." Evelyn looked at Ethan and blinked, "Brother Jayden, grandmother hasn't been able to do anything to you for so long, which must mean you're much more capable. How about you take me in for a while?"
Without hesitation, Ethan nodded, "Okay, then come back with me."
Evelyn's eyes lit up, "That's great, Brother Jayden, you really are a living Bodhisattva saving those in distress."
Ethan curled his lip, "This quirky girl, I couldn't just stand by and watch her in trouble."
