Chapter Six
The two little ones exchanged a sly smile and high-fived in agreement.
Wilson scurried to the living room, while his sister went to open the door, poking her little head out. Her big, round eyes, clear in their distinction of black and white, looked at Ryan Gregory. "Handsome guy, I think I've seen you before."
Handsome guy?
Ryan Gregory's heart turned to mush, watching Lena in disbelief.
In fact, the siblings did look alike, but the sister felt more like Sofia Hamilton.
Small in stature, with a face so tender that it seemed water could be squeezed from it, her delicate and adorable features could disarm him with just a casual smile.
Ryan Gregory lifted the corners of his mouth but momentarily forgot what he was supposed to say.
Even he couldn't believe it. Faced with a child, he was so nervous he couldn't speak.
This was the only time in his life!!!
He wanted to tell her he was her daddy and then hug her…
But he feared scaring the little girl.
