Taking a deep breath, Ryan finally rang the doorbell.
After a short while, the door opened, and it was still the little girl who answered, "Huh, it's you?"
Ryan curved his lips upward, facing the little girl with his flawless smile, "Lena, may I come in?"
"Alright, come in. I'm the only one at home anyway."

How can such a small child be left home alone!!
His heart tightened as he asked, "Where's Mommy?"
"My brother wasn't feeling well, so Mommy took him to see the doctor. Auntie hasn't arrived yet, I'm waiting for her at home," the little girl explained calmly, seemingly unbothered by being alone, as if such events were commonplace…
