Seeing her befuddled look, he pointed helplessly at his own cheek, "Here."

Sofia Hamilton finally understood what he meant and, seeing that he had already turned his face toward her, her lips curved into a shallow smile. She leaned in and gave him a peck on the face, "Is that okay?"

Although it was but a small kiss, it filled his heart to the brim.

Something surged through his entire body, instantly lifting his spirits and seemingly providing him the drive for the entire day.

Ryan Gregory then let go of her hand, not forgetting to remind her, "Wait for me here when you're done. I'll come to pick you up."

"There's no need, I can take a car back by myself."

"Let's settle it this way; I'll come to pick you up later. Don't go missing," he said, barely holding back his laughter as he ruffled her hair, "Go on up."
