Before he could answer, someone already knocked on the door.
"Coming!" Summer Gardner turned and walked towards the door, grumbling as she went, "Blockhead, acting like a General, but can't remember to bring the keys every time he goes out."
She opened the door, and there, Logan Bennett leaned lazily against the doorframe, one hand holding the groceries he had bought.
Seeing the keys in his hand, Summer Gardner immediately frowned, "You have the keys and you still knock? You're hopelessly lazy."
"Why should I use keys when my wife is at home?" Logan Bennett extended the hand from behind his back, presenting her with a bunch of roses, "Here... A pretty young girl gave these to me at the crossroad as a confession of love, you're benefiting from this!"
Summer Gardner had been smiling as she reached for the flowers, but upon hearing the last part, she kicked out at him directly.
Knowing she couldn't really hurt him, Logan Bennett didn't dodge.
