Ivana Bennett smiled faintly. "Lucas has already arranged everything. We'll return to Bitterford tomorrow."
These past two days, he had been so busy that he'd come home late only because he was making time for the upcoming engagement party.
"Really?" Surprise colored Summer Gardner's voice. "Great, we've already made plans to eat at your Uncle Lucas's place tomorrow. Then after we look at the hotel in the evening, we'll pick you up, and we'll all go out for dinner together."
"No need to pick me up; I know the way."
"I'm picking up my son-in-law, not you!"
Seeing Lucas Walker enter the foyer, Ivana Bennett smiled at him. "Okay okay, then you pick up the son-in-law."
"Alright, then it's settled. See you at the airport tomorrow. Lucas isn't here, so go ahead and eat. You're pregnant now, with twins no less, nutrition is very important. Go have your meal."
"Yes, Your Majesty! Then I'll go eat. See you tomorrow."
"Okay... and remember to sleep early."
"I know, I know."
